I liked the simplicity of your graphics and your game in general. It's fun to play! I didnt find a way to restart after the game is over.

The game is an interesting remake of a classic (I think), and it was fun. I'm sorry that I cannot evaluate the graphics, because that was superb, in my opinion: it felt like playing on a very early cathode ray tube display.
I like the arcade theme, the graphics are nice too, some simple geometry and lights are enough to convey the idea. The sound however gets annoying pretty quickly. I'm not a fan of this type of controls, I cannot maneuver y ship like I want: for instance the up arrow (or W) always make the ship go toward the direction it is currently facing, this is counterintuitive for me. I prefer traditional controls scheme where up makes you go up whatever direction your facing, but this means you cannot fire in any direction. Games like Binding of Isaac handles it by giving a bit of the character velocity to the bullet he is firing, so you can fire in almost any direction. But I'm not really complaining, just trying to give you other options :) Also the games lack a few more mechanics (but that's a jam), items or type of ship / asteroids. Anyway, great job :)
I dig the take on retro arcade aesthetic with the glowing geometry on the solid black background. Very much a homage to Asteroids meshed with the theme of the jam. I like the sounds but I think you should maybe vary the pitch based on the object size because it gets a little monotonous. Also it would be nice if collision with the asteroids damaged the player to increase the challenge. I had fun playing! It took me back :)
Nice entry!
Pros: - Cool Neon/Arcade style - Controls feels nice
Cons: - Feels very empty, maybe too few enemies? And only feel the closing walls by the end game
Obs: Since the bullets don't have lifetime, I just rotated and kept shooting, destroying a bunch of things, or at least I think since I heard the sfx and my points increased
Cheers!
Great art style and well-tested gameplay mechanics, well done. One problem is the visual feedback that the ship is moving. If there are no asteroids on screen it feels like nothing happens. I suggest to add some kind of background that scrolls when the player is moving around.
I really liked the graphics, the gameplay and the destroy animations and sounds, but I found the game quite easy to beat. If you just spawn more enemies or made that the asteroids hurt you if you hit them at a high speed it will be much better. Great job and keep on it!!!
Really liked the new take on the classic game Asteroids. I think the game played really well and it felt good to control. Only annoying part is that I would occasionally get sniped by an offscreen enemy with no other warning. Good job on the art and sounds, they are very fitting for this game. Congratulations on making a game in 48 hours!
Your game is very nice to play. The general impact is positive. As a professional game dev I would suggest... just kidding haha Nonetheless, if you want to work on this project more I suggest making a difficulty incresing algorithm. Graphics - very nice. Controls are also working very well. Maybe you could also take a glimpse at my game? I already enlarged it into a wholesome Android game :)
Nice idea! cool game!
I had fun playing it, nice game :)
Love the old school style, good job
