Great entry James. The models look great and are smoothly animated. I love the aesthetics and overall feel of the game. I did have some trouble with controls. The free mouse look took a while to get used to. I think this game would have been fine having the camera locked behind the player, or maybe just move on the horizontal axis. It's a very hard game. It took me quite a while to find the first person and I wasn't able to find the second. I think the reason why it's so difficult is because the people are constantly moving, making it impossible to scan by area. It might just be me and my incompetency though. :)
Soundtrack's awesome, love the 80s aesthetic. Think there's a bug in the gameplay though, one time my selection definitely fitted the description and the game told me it was the wrong one.
I can't imagine how much more difficult this would be with textures and worldobjects all around the npcs. Its already plenty hard enough to look through the constantly moving crowd. It does get tedious after a while but I think that could be easily solved. Good jam game overall just very difficult.
Great game, I definatelly going to let my colleague play this! He his colourblind haha!!!
A really funny 3D version of where is waldo I guess? :D
I had a blast trying it out myself after seeing it on stream!
Very creative idea for a game. Had a very 80's retro look and feel to it. Controls were good although I would have liked the camera to have been a little higher. All in all I thought it was a fun little game. Congrats James on finishing the Jam!
This was definitely an interesting one! The mood and premise was really good, and it was fun to look at all the characters and their silly hairs and hats and beards! Found it a bit hard to find the people based on how many people there were overall! I loved the visual when you found the right person.. as well as the cute Irish voice acting muahahah!
This game gave me some straight up retro 80s Kung Fury feels without all the Kung or the Fury! Maybe having other ways to identify who you need to find though through their actions, or the actions of others. But, a nice people finding puzzler.
Very interesting game. Love to retro style.
I really like the UI and concept, but i hate that 3d camera controller, i'm more used to change view using only my mouse not with the movement keys. But overall an impressive game!
Yeah the camera shouldn't follow the character upon walking when you want to look around with the mouse (invert cam Y is a must for me). Mmm dat music tho. Nice style and fitting soundtrack. Just a little hard to hear the devil's voice.
I think it would have been better to always show the arrow indicator until you get close to the target (right-click instead reduce the arrow-hide distance). Also more fun to be had if you fired some sort of "sacrifice bullet" so that some aim skills would get involved. Could get more soul bits earned if the target was shot from a distance.
Great mood and style! Like many complaints before me, camera control was weird and it was very hard to identify and select the target, specially when he is selected but because of the highlight I can't make sure of the colors, so I need to deselect and select again. Great work!
Well done, impressed you did the models for it, too-- in time that is. Synthwave is always a win for me. Got my high ratings. I have a LD44 game myself, would love for you to play it, I think you'll find it silly fun. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/bleedcoin-cryptcurrency :)
Cool game, I love the neon theme!

Great aesthetic and interesting concept. I can really see a lot of potential in this game. Unfortunately there are a couple of issues that detract from the fun a bit. The first is that you can find people that seem to match the description, but turn out to not be the target, and there is no way to rule them out without losing points. I think there should only be one match each time. Maybe there could be smaller details that could distinguish between close matches later on, but if all you´re given is hair, hat, glasses, then anybody with those details right should match. The second is probably a bug, and maybe only effects me, but the "black" hat and glasses are actually grey. Finally, I don´t like the way the camera moves, pulling in towards the character and stuff - I´m trying to look around damnit!
