I like that the game was turn based. I really, really like the fact the game is turned based and that the "running out of space" is the tiles on the board. However the controls felt a bit strange. I pushed the up arrow and I went down, I pushed the left arrow and I went right so it was confusing at first. But I really, really like your game.

i have agree, controls real weird. But me liked the grafix and it looked good grafix. I thought went well with theme, but not maybe. you could have add hoomer, that would make game gooder. Sorry about my English, i find that since i come from a non-English speaking country my English is not very good.

Guys @alastairwyn i write in the tutorial "the red cube pointing at front" if you press left arrow the player mowing left side of object (red cube pointing front(north))

But thanks the feedbacks.

I like that this game has a different pace because it is turn based, however it is a bit confusing. Maybe add markers for north, west , east and south so players know where they will move

I liked the idea, the graphics were nice, but it clearly lacks sound effects and music. The random generation of the levels may need to be balanced as sometime it made the level unbeatable. The AI has some room for improvement: in my game multiple time it went to a hole and died. There are some glitches and bugs which needs to be fixed, for example I couldn't step on the key without restarting the level one time. Great effort overall!

Cool 😅

Good work, looks like you had good ideas and it must have required a lot of effort. Graphics are beautiful, I'm wondering about which part of them you did by yourself, did you do the dragon models?

However, it was overall very confusing. I kept going in the wrong direction. I see now after reading the comments that the red cube is there for that I think a fixed camera oriented north would just make things much simpler. The explanations in the beginning are not quite clear either: I saw the "Arial" button a bit late (otherwise the other font was almost unreadable), but the main problem for me what that the English was difficult to understand. But obviously, if it's not your mother tongue I understand it is difficult, so I can't take that into account ;) It's possible to make the explain rules without a lot of text tough, but that takes more time.

Good job overall!

Good entry! I would work on cleaning up the art to be more consistent. there is a mix of cartoony and realistic that I don't think matches that well. I understand the premise of the game, but it was confusing at first. I would get rid of having the first-person camera and stick to a fixed-perspective. Would also make it so that turns end quicker so that you don't have to wait much for the dragons to fly and land.

nice game but like @carlos-giraldo don't mix cartoon and realistic ;) you need to make a choice !

Good Entry. Here is my feedback:

Its all whacky with the iphone in space with a dragon. You should brush up on the tutorial section as well. It looks slightly disorganised.

zuhairghias 2018-08-20 16:51

It's a little random. Good idea though, could be refined.

Nice game, I hope to see more updates and improvments sooner. If you don't bother take a look at our game when we focused on Graphics and visuals and see the results that we got: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/spacelab-42

Nice idea but also a bit confused about the controls and the graphics. Also I still don't get the idea of the phone.
