WARNNG: this may sound harsh, note that i gave a good rating, BUT
was it really necessary to make yet another minecraft remake?
It seams that people think that reusing an idea that has already been successful guaranties success...
Anyhow, although this was a minecraft remake, i still loved the spike of humour at the end, good job anyways
very interesting, nicely polished, good job!
@Rick Hoppmann Thats why I have a web version up, i was really hesitating between posting a linux version as well, but i wanted to have the spoilers as a separate link, and was only given 5 spaces... anyways, i genuinely prefer playing web player games for rating, its so much easier...
FYI I am also a linux user if that makes you happy in anyway, shape or form, but I know, and you do too which OS is the most common, and which is the least...
sorry.
Well done. I really enjoyed the retro style of the game HOWEVER, its a great shame the the controls are so slippery. i don't know what physics engine you used, but one thing to always keep in mind, both in 2D and in 3D is that characters are kinematic objects not physics objects, which is why there movements isnt force based, apart from that i really enjoyed the game. good job! :)
@AdenMansonGames It should be fixed by now, ive been having a few issue with IO, unexpected problem with binaries
@Aske just fixed that! :)
@nic thx man, the engine that powers this game is definitely living on as its one of my big projects atm and the graphic style is a style im trying to develop and am in the process of learning how to draw :D.
@nassi I have addressed both of your comments in an update note at the top, Thank you very much for pointing all this out, i had my doubts about the ambiguity of the first level. Cheers!
Very nice art, looks very ominous. One of my little gripes with this is totally irrational. you forgot to divide the strafe movement by sqrt(2), this means that diagonal movement has an effective velocity of speed * root 2 instead of just speed. Good JOB! :)
This is a very nice concept. The art is very nice and with proper animations has the potential to be great looking. unfortunately it lacks features, and is more of a multiplayer experience. Its a shame since it looked really nice. ALSO, if you have a controller, I strongly recommend using one, the controls are better suited for it. Good job! :)
Funny game, simplistic art, but somewhat lacking gameplay. Good job! :)
Neat art, very nice style, but the animation was a little fast... AND the controls very difficult to use, makes the game even more en-ragingly hard. Good Job! :)
Nice little game, fun to play. I wish there was some audio, maybe a bit more variation in the textures. Good job! :)
Very Interesting, love the graphics style, although the game is difficult due to the speed that guards run at. good job man. Also, movement would have been better with WASD or arrow keys
Not bad, especially since you're 11. props to you! like the art. good job! :)
Very cool little game. love;y concept very nicely executed. Good job! :)
Very nice little game, controls are a bit stiff but a very nice idea. Good job! :)
Well done. very clean and surprisingly polished game play. simple graphics and a nice ambient song. Good job! :)
nice humoristic intro, it put a smile on my face. not a bad clicker game either, but could definitely use some polish. Good job! :)
Well done, interesting mechanic, could have helped with a scoring mechanic. but the concept is really nice. Good job! :)
Very cool concept, not really related to the theme but i love the game play. Love it. too bad it's so short in levels... Good job! :) (also, why ruby... why... ;p)
