Nice! I love the parallel world idea. Some of the puzzles were a little left field for me, thanks for the walk-through!
Very nice! Love the cassette-style cover art. Game is v. fun.
Fantastic! It's like a Game Boy version of Smash TV. Game play was spot on. Very nice! Graphics & sound were top notch too.
Fun, although those 'thwomps' become annoying after the nth kill :) Controls seemed a little cramped. Arrow keys might have been a better choice.
Who doesn't love a bullet-hell shooter?
41 jumps! The placement of the spikey things seemed a little too random, but it's a fun game none the less.
Takes a while to get into a rhythm with the controls. I was on the wall jump screen before it 'clicked'. Neat game.
Really cool idea, but it's difficult to know what pellets are on what... erm.. plane..? I assume they're colour coded in some way, but I couldn't figure it out. Enjoyable though.
Not much in the way of controls. Loved the graphics and sound effects.
Good effort for your first entry.
Liked the game, didn't like the music (sorry). It seemed to be burning into my brain! For extra fun, the player can use the 'home keys' to make it into a typing tutor.
Loved it. Had me smiling.
Thanks for the feedback! I noticed that the jumping was a little 'quirky'. I wrote a bit of a post-mortem on the game and that was one of the things I mentioned. Tried to fix it a few times, but couldn't quite get there. Probably a -1 or a +1 out somewhere.
@richtx I compiled the game using XNA Framework 4.0 on 64-bit Windows 8. iirc, XNA isn't 64-bit, so it should work with all Windows... *should*... The redistributable can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20914.
Thanks again for you feedback!
@garygreen do you have XNA 4.0 installed?
Well, it fits the theme.
The controls were frustrating, but I liked the idea of the game.
A bit short. I liked the story.
The difficulty curve seems a little over the place, but a fun puzzler none the less. The level names make up a great commentary and the music is minimal too. Like it.
It's certainly minimal, but minimalism..? Not so sure. A little on the short side too.
Nice experience.
Great fun!
