To anyone seeing the above 9 comments, they were an accident from when the site was glitching out.

huvaakoodia 2017-04-30 08:44

I tried the WebGL version. It ran really badly and got an error once I selected a player with the multi selection rectangle and moved them to a position. I tried downloading the windows version, but it lacks the Data folder that it needs to work.

Also you should contact Mike (link at the top) to get those glitch comments removed.

The game crashed after freeing the second hero :( but overall quite impressive, i like lowpoly style of the game.

rixud 2017-05-01 04:29

i like the idea very much, but the game give me a lot of errors and i need to restart over and over, some sound effects or music would be very good.. i love the low poly graphics ! Great Entry...

Bug Found: Multiselect can throw an error

Very neat. I had a bit of performance trouble in the web version, the worst one was a crash every time I tried to move multiple units to the space ship at once. That aside you all had a very unique idea and pulled it off. Congrats! :)

Looks like an interesting puzzle concept. The selecting of several units does seem unusual for the type of game and might have some more potential to use.

I did encounter a bug where some java code or so crashed when trying to move a player that wasn't able to get to the desired location with a wall in between.

I Live-Streamed this game this past evening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfvbUFJnui4

I wasn't able to get very far due to crashes. I went back and played it after the stream and continued to crash when selecting and trying to move characters.

Puzzle game with RTS controls. Rotating planet turns out to be pretty common theme during this LD, but this one is pretty polished - I mean, functional tutorial? Nice. Each planet seems to also differ, with unique palette. WebGL build turned out pretty quirky forcing me to restart thrice, although my Firefox might be to blame. Options button seem to be non-functional. Another issue is lack of music or at least ambient - it would greatly improve the mood!

Game crashed multiple times for me as well. Once when I was trying to move multiple people into the rocket on the first level, then when I tried to move a crew member through a fence. I'm running it in Safari on MacOS 10.10.5 Yosemite. The concept was neat. I wish I could use the arrow keys or WASD to rotate the world. I also didn't like having to right click to select. I feel like if I could just left click on a crew member, it would be better. Tutorial was a very nice addition. Where were the sound effects or music?!?

Really nice graphics. Liked the idea of RTS puzzle game. Got confused between buttons as everything else uses left button for box select (even Blender). Other than that really good entry.

Im a fan of low poly art and you did pretty good job with yours. The overall graphics and animation feel was pretty nice. If there was some good ambient music it would have been even better.

The concept is pretty good, but it would have been a better if you utilized more the planet rotation action, it felt like if the game was on 2D word there wouldn't be much more difference. But maybe that changed later in the game, but I stopped playing after some time cause I got 2 crashes and I didnt feel like replaying it all over again.

There is the crash message - it happened after I selected both players and right clicked instead of left clicked https://i.gyazo.com/0f760cb8b71d15b102e0ef5f48c12fda.png

Other than that the games looks nice and well thought through. Good job!

zgragselus 2017-05-12 20:49

The graphics is cute and looks quite polished. As for the game play.

I tried the WebGL version only and it crashes once you try to move player into location that seems to be unreachable (moving the one from the cage out). I was missing some music and sounds too, to give me more feedback, although they tend to be quite hard to get around.

Overall the game is chilling and could even be logical if implemented further (multiple levels F.e.). Congratulations on making the game and good job!

eli-delventhal 2017-05-12 21:24

Alas, I get a crash whenever I try to move the player that's within the fence at all. I wasn't able to make any reasonable progress.

Your game is quite ambitious and have some really nice ideas ! I loved how you managed the shaders and low poly graphics !

Too bad you couldn't implements musics or sound effects, and i was pretty confused because you broke the universal law of character selecting in a STR-like game (left click to select, right click to move them) And game crashed multiple times and had some bugs, but i consider it difficult to make all of it in time so great job anyway !

alex-williams 2017-05-12 22:21

Wow! Very ambitious. I love the idea and would really, really play this one once it was completed. More levels, more puzzles, MOAR! Great job!

init-py 2017-05-12 23:56

Amazing game! Crashed all the time for me though.

phaze0 2017-05-13 01:36

Not every mouse has a scroll wheel, best to have an alternative if it's a required action to make it through the tutorial. If I select a character in a fence and click to move outside the closed gate it crashes:

The error was: uncaught exception: abort(142) at jsStackTrace (Tiny Planet.asm.framework.unityweb:2:27465) stackTrace (Tiny Planet.asm.framework.unityweb:2:27636) abort (Tiny Planet.asm.framework.unityweb:4:31788) ...

Also, one of the characters got stuck just outside the gate, but the other was sucked up by the rocket, so I had no recourse but to restart the whole game..

madalaski 2017-05-16 19:58

I had an enjoyable experience but the bugs were pretty intense.

Nice game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKbr96NdjUs
