Some of the planets aren't rendering correctly. Some of them get cut in half or something.

I quite like the graphical style of the planets and the spaceship. However, many of the planets aren't visible or are partially cut off. The text doesn't look as good and the colours can sometimes make it hard to see. As for the game itself, it's an interesting idea but I don't think it was fully realised. Perhaps you could flesh out the planets' personalities a bit more and provide some more meaningful dialogue options.

It was a fun adventure! I enjoyed seeing the dialogue, and it was fun being pretty mean to all of the planets. Sometimes the graphics would be 1/2 cut off (Uranus was completely gone), which was more of a technical bug than anything, and the text was a bit small, but all of the dialogue was really enjoyable. Good job!

A cute idea. Some planets were not shown. Are your render layers in the correct order?

king-kujito 2017-04-28 16:45

Could you post a link to some gameplay footage? I would like to give you some feedback but I can't play the game on my mac.

As others have said, some planet sprites are cut off while others are missing entirely. The text color choices weren't always the greatest for clarity either unfortunately. Sadly I can't comment on the story, the second I realized it was a visual novel/experience/not actually a game, I kind of just started randomly clicking buttons while looking at the pictures.

Haha nice. I liked the art style, and the humor was good too! One thing I would suggest is throwing an Outline and Shadow component on your text, it got a little bit difficult to read at times. I also had some issues with some of the planets not showing up. Aside from that, it was a fun take on the theme. :)

Here's my entry if you wouldn't mind giving some feedback: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/dr-m-littles-planet-mass-overdrive

It was interesting, it was like a storybook where you can choose the dialogue but the overall adventure is the same. The dialogue still is fun though!

red-fan-games 2017-05-01 03:34

More interactive experience than game, but still cool and fresh. Expanding upon it would be really cool!

burgee 2017-05-01 03:52

Nice little interactive game. I didn't have any sound - not sure if that's intended or not, but rated accordingly. Got a chuckle or two out of the jokes, earth is a little jerk also. Accurate, probably! Nice work!

i do like the multi choice and nice simple story. The art style is also very simplistic and also very nice and soothing to the eye. I also really liked the background being purple instead of black, imho it makes it a lot easier on the eyes. Very good overall, made me smile. Nice game!

wheerd 2017-05-01 06:25

I love the art style of the planets  Some of them are only shown halfway though. The text is sometimes hardly readable because of its color. When the ship was flying, it seemed like the background was showing through it sometimes.

What a weird game. Fun script, not much interactivity though and having half the graphics being broken is a bummer.

occultone 2017-05-01 08:27

I played this on Livestream a Few Days Ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiOC3F43xF0

Great Art Style, and obviously a good knowledge of the solar system. My inner Planetary Geology Minor appreciated it all. I think some of the planets got cut up? But otherwise a solid narrative experience.

Well, that was... special.

infestient 2017-05-01 18:45

Some nice dialogue, wish there was music, though!

dayvidmoreira7 2017-05-01 20:09

Falta carinho pra tornar dessa proposta um produto, mas ainda assim, parabéns pelo trabalho!

bendev-games 2017-05-01 21:12

The idea is good but i had some problems like planets not showing and texts not fully showing up.

Keep working on it!

pedro-henrique-cesar 2017-05-01 23:39

Some planets are not showing properly and the text color sometimes make it hard to see. Need some polish

brainy-beard 2017-05-02 08:21

Could of been more fun if the conversations had more reply options, many planets didn't properly render, cute idea for a game.

arcticmattekar 2017-05-02 17:57

Some planet did not show up. If this game gets a bit more polish it could be a nice educational game for kids about the solar system.
