It would be nice if the menu buttons could be controlled by mouse, in web version I can select the city only by the Space bar. Also, I don't think I can pass through the first city - it's too random/hard? The game reminds me of the Ceasar 3's NPC roaming around the city and effecting the buildings around. Nice idea and the good-looking art.
Thank you @demyhallar! Menu buttons work in my browsers, which browser/OS do you use? I had very little time to do balancing and I realized that the smaller towns are actually harder, because the entity's influence on the buildings is proportionally stronger. But you can still turn the game 180° even if gentrification is at 50%! Just try it, sometimes it's too random and not fair, but it works.
Gentrification successfully halted!
I enjoyed the idea and the weird sound effects. The art style is solid and the gameplay is fun. It felt challenging at first, until I just started spamming Dogs, or bigger units whenever I got the points. I just randomly placed whatever I had resources for... it still seemed to work.
Overall, an enjoyable, good looking and fun game that may benefit from some additional balancing in the future. Keep it up!

I enjoyed this, I really liked the art. :) There are not nearly enough games dealing with gentrification! You scored extra points with me since it's a thing that has affected me directly in the past and we've been working on a larger game project about it.
it seems that spamming the game leads to victory - still, an interesting idea - good game
Overall a unique and rather solid game that could be a larger game by itself or a minigame in a game.
Loved the art style Wished there were more maps/difficulty as currently its too easy to win. On the last stage I spammed grandmas on every tile and won.
I'm really confused about this entry. It was really pleasant to play it from the esthetical side, graphics and sounds, reacition on mouse pointer - everything was really good. But on the other side it felt really random while playing - I didnt feel that I was doing something other than just placing characters. Feeling was that I might as well just place them in one single square and still win. But! It was still really pleasant, well-made and polished. It would make a good mobile game if well balanced enough ;) Finished all 3 lvls btw :)
