Nice game! Game was a bit dark (in lighting not in tone) and spamming wasd was a little tiring. Would have liked to be able to hold the buttons down especially on a map as big as this.
Thanks for the feedback folks! I agree that there's definitely a lot more that could be done with the idea. Being the only developer, I had trouble getting the game finished on time while learning Godot and making the art. By the time I got to level design, I only had time to make 4 levels to demonstrate the basics of the mechanic. I'm strongly considering working on this some more on my spare time.
Really polished! It was hard to tell what was a death pit and what was a secret (though you need to go down there anyways) area. Part of it might be the camera focuses too high up so all drops feels scary.

Can make Pipo run in circles indefinitely. Humor 5/5. It's a really fun idea. I did end up wrestling with the controls a bit and Pipo moved fairly slow, but otherwise very enjoyable
Nice to see a game made in Love and I liked the tileset used! Movement felt a bit slow and would like some more feedback from opening the chests.
Like the aesthetic! Enemies are a pretty fast compared to goombas and overall felt a bit floaty. Double jump kinda makes up for it though
