I really like the concept ! It's really simple but it emphasizes a lot of our actual overpopulation struggle on this little Earth

aaay, a fellow javascripter! love this game, but it really could use a bit more content, or if not, a multiplayer setting.

Thanks, but I'm not sure I follow. Content can mean lots of things after all, but I agree that it's currently lacking in polish if that's what you meant. I spent most of my time working on the overpopulation mechanic. The game is meant to be played by two people so the default setting is multiplayer. If you meant online multiplayer which would make the mechanics of the game really shine, I agree on that too. The exclusion of multiplayer is again caused by time and experience constraints.

I like the idea, but it's lacking something - maybe a clear goal, or a choice of actions players can take (eg, instead of moving your own units you can change the population cap of a hexagon, or choose to destroy enemy units). Good base for a strong game though!

I really like this idea, and found it quick to pick up, but hard to play well, which I guess is the game mechanic ideal. :) The only thing that wasn't clear to me was the "alive" thing and whether I could change a move before ending my turn.

At first it was difficult to understand how to play this game, but after I figured it out it seemed pretty cool. Perhaps you should add an option to play on a larger map?

Interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the MiniLD 69 games, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/nRFzaIcVxgM
