It is very fun, it is satisfying blowing up dwarfs, but after a while the dwarfs stopped coming. I don't know if i lost, but there wasn't a game over screen and my score kept going up.

I love the reverse-digdug idea! It is pretty entertaining setting traps and watching them fall for them. I found it way too hard to click them before they get to where they are going to actually form a plan so I just ended up setting random traps in good general places.
that was super fun! i liked the music too. great job!
@greybeetle Hey, glad you enjoyed blowing them up! It is supposed to have a game over screen if they get all the gems... I wonder why they stopped coming. Must be a bug, sorry!
Cool game! It's a little chaotic to just jump into, so the tutorial is much appreciated. (And easy to follow!) I struggled to check the intent of more than just the first couple dwarves before it got too hectic, but it's fun either way!
@natethegreat @goggleskitty Yeah... ultimately once you get into it the intents are mostly just to help you figure out what the dwarves do in general. Once there's a ton of them you just kinda have to trap places you think they're going to go and laugh as they die. Thanks for playing!
@squirmonkey i played a few more times and didn't encounter the bug, so it must have just been bad luck the first time. Apart from the first time i played its a very fun game and polished game.
@greybeetle Glad to hear you're enjoying it! I've been trying to reproduce that bug and haven't figured out how >.< Let us know what your high scores are!
I generally love tower defense games, so this was interesting for me to analyze. I kind of adored the art style of the dwarves, and wanted them to win. The mana indicator was a bit hard for me to figure out, and the tutorial was overwhelming. But the idea of setting up traps is very unique and cleverly executed. I think this game has potential to be an interesting puzzler/action game. If there was a bit more of a sense of progression - which is key to tower defense games - unlocking cool abilities or towers, like the beast, then I would have probably tried a few more loops of the game. Don't show me all your cards too fast :P Thank you for the game!
- Nice art style, felt consistent and I liked the earthy colour palette. - The dwarf voice sfx were charming. - Love a good tutorial. - The music speeding up to ramp tension was a nice touch.
- Didn't check the dwarf's intention very much once it got going, too busy trying to spam bombs all over the place. - Possible bug where I had one gem left but the dwarves weren't coming out to get it and the game just sorta softlocked. - The current mana level wasn't super clear at a glance when you're frantically trying to murder dwarves, I like the mana crystal art but I'd like to see a number as well.
Some inaxpected ultraviolence in the tutorial :-)
Game mechanic is challenging and kind of reminds me of dungeon keeper in a simple form.
Great entry!
I love this game! It has a nice little twist on the theme, the tutorial is crystal clear, the music is good and the art is pretty good! All in all I genuinely enjoyed the game and am impressed with what you two managed to make in this short amount of time!
Monster and gas two of the most dangerous hasard of a cave for sure ^^
awesome concept, clever and challenging. a great entry!
Found this game quite fun! It's a great twist to defend the gems!
I found analyzing all of the dwarves really difficult as right clicking them was tough to do in time! I found I generally had to rely on trapping the diamonds.
Great entry!
I had lots of fun!
Awesome! Love their pathetic little dwarf screams :)
Really clever idea. I found it hard to be too strategic, because the pace of the game was just so fast. I would have appreciated an easy mode at 0.25x speed so I could really take time to check what the dwarves are doing and plan around it.
Nice concept but I feel like it was too fast paced to keep up with everything.
really cool take on the theme and the tower defence genre. i really like the idea of placing the items strategically. it did start to get very hectic a little too soon for me, but it is hard to balance when jamming. thanks for making this game.
This is hilarious and unique! A lot of what I would say has been said, cheers! btw the music is groovy
This was a really cool idea! And fun, too. It was challenging but in a great way, I loved the little dwarf AI - there was something cozy af about this whole game. Really dug it :D
From the screenshots I thought this would be another one of the hundreds of mining games. The concept is very unique and not something I'd seen before. The tutorial was very good and I learned the mechanics, but the starting difficulty is way too high. I think you should make the dwarves move a lot slower at first so the player can more comfortably practice the mechanics. by the time I right clicked a dwarf, there were 2-3 more sprinting into the mine.
Really unique idea! I felt it ran a little fast for my tastes, I would have liked to been able to pause or slow down time so I could plan better, but maybe that wouldn't be as fun!
Cool idea! Making dwarfs a bit slower would help seeing if our trap placement is effective.
Takes a moment to get used to the speed of the game. I like the reverse idea that are the ground against the Dwarves. Good ideas for the traps, hot keys would be really useful.
My final score: 7853
Pretty deep gameplay for a 72 hour game! I think I can play it for at least 30 minutes!
Tutorial and everything! Nice work
