I really like your game with this sort of quest ! Pretty cool ! Just once time I went to bed and I had less than 20% of battery and then when I woke up I was at a minus number of battery power :), this number became 0 and then I "died" so I think this isn't normal ;).
Pretty cool! Played it four times. First time, barely survived with 10% power left. Second time I did a "speed run" and made it at 89%! Third and fourth were experimenting with the two ways to lose. Cool game! Good moody music, nice little plot. Fine work!

Damn , this game was so intense. I legit jumpscared at the first night when the sound kicks in. Music combines so well with the atmosphere . And i really liked the plot :) . My favourite so far !
Very nice game! I was able to save her! I liked the duel timer mechanic (sun and battery). Would have enjoyed more levels. Maybe make a post jam version with more areas to explore, multiple batteries, and new goals. The music was awesome and really set the tone.
I have some nit-picky critiques, but overall I love the game. The bright red and pink of the characters looked to bright compared to the rest of the game, maybe make the color slightly more muted to fit the feel. Once the dialog went outside the text box. It was also possible to trap the zombie/monsters behind the table and just have a staring contest. I was also able to rest even though I had the battery in my inventory. Having the dialog say something like "this is no time to rest, I must get the battery installed." (Unless for a post jam version it is beneficial to ONLY change batteries as they are just about to run out)

** First impression **: That game looks really interesting, especially a story driven game for a jam :)
** Sound **: Those were really good/fitting for the kind of game you guys made great job :)
** Graphics **: I really like the artstyle, everything fit well together :)
** Gameplay **: At first i thought this will just be an story driven puzzle game, but suddendly monsters were there and i had to run, the music really played a big part into this, great experience :) One thing that was a bit weird tho was that the guy with the key suddendly vanished, i didn't really understand why? also it is possible to trap the monsters in corners^^ (i guess time rand out for path finding^^)
** Overall **: This is a really good entry, all parts play well together, hats off to you guys you managed to create something quite interesting in such an short timeframe :)

Nice work! The menu and intro looked really well done. I felt like the graphics and level design were a little lacking, but over all it was quite impressive for a jam game.
The only problem I had was that I missed the word "frozen" on the janitors keys. If you have the frozen keys and check the toolbox, it still just says "I can't open it, I need another key". I died on my first playthrough because I spent too much time backtracking trying to find another set of keys.
Has game boy color vibe, which is awesome, the game is intense since you are running against the clock, the sounds are pretty cool and fits the theme very well. It is a great game, and what makes that more impressive is that you guys's first game. Great team effort !

Man, the audio is a definite 5 star! Fits well with the gameplay and dynamic of the game!
I downloaded your game wondering what it was built with.. and noticed it was built in Java! Using lwjgl! So.. I was a little confused that you linked to the source as a "Windows" build.. and then shipped all the binaries for other OSes with it.. Still.. I thought I'd give it a shot..
Unfortunately, even after getting the libraries on the path, it crashes on launch complaining it can't find a method in the OpenAL library.. something to do with "getintegerv".. So I still can't play it. :(
The is good! The Sound and The Graphics, Retro type which was awesome, Overall loved the game, I think you should take this game one step foward

Awesome, one of the best games in terms of mood. Just a bit of text and good sounds and the atmosphere was real. Should you decide to make a bigger quest out of it, I'd suggest testing with more of a brute-force approach - while I easily finished the game on my second try knowing where to go, it was quite hard to finish in time on my first time. Oh, and another small thing, it's not always obvious from which side you can interact with some objects, but that's not that important, more of a minor annoyance. Well done, you created the most atmospheric game out of all I've rated by now.
I really quite liked this entry! A compelling premise to start from, very good music to set the mood.
I was going to comment on the graphics, but then realized you opted-out on those and read that you used pre-existing tilesheets. One gripe I had with them was the scaling of character sprites compared to the environments. That's a personal pet peeve of mine. I would've liked for the outdoors exits to the next street to not be the same doors you use to enter houses.
The puzzles were basic *get A to access B* tasks, but with enough story to them to not feel plain and too few of them to bother me. I finished the game on my second try.

The graphics look great, and the audio is insanely good. The music combines so well with the atmosphere!
Overall, a nice little game that deserves the high score I gave it. Out of the games I’ve played so far this one is my favorite! Seriously, great job!!
Also, I was happy to give you your 20th rating :)

Nice work team, for your first LD this is a very impressive entry.
Great mood and audio for this game. And I barely survived the first play through, was extremely stressful so thank you for that :P
