The game felt really solid and i enjoyed the SFX and general vibe. I collected around 56 trash before the time was up. Only thing that felt a little off was after the time was up the interface (retry button etc) was very big and covered most of the screen.
Either way, i enjoyed this one. Well done!
What a fun little time attack. The music was a bop, and I had this moment where some trash spawned in the middle of the lake but I was able to find just the right spot to get it and still better my score! Solid effort!
@appoxgames - The canvas scaling was one thing that I struggled with unfortunately. It looks fine on some screens, but then it becomes off on others. Usually going full screen works but I know that's not ideal lol
@threeli - I loved those moments during development! I tried to get it to not spawn on the lake, but I ended up keeping it in (mostly because I couldn't figure out an easy way to avoid it) since it was actually fun and you'd usually be able to get it anyway. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

A nice little game to get a high score in. I got 90 on my first attempt. Love the music, a lot of effort must have went into it. The way the trashcan follows you around by a string was neat.
The music here was fantastic! Both the title theme and the main game theme were incredibly fun to listen to (though I have a preference for the title screen as I like more calming music). What software did you use to make it? I liked the lighting in the game and how the player character wobbles up and down as he walks. For embedding the web version of the game (for ldjam website), I had to redo my game's dimensions as 943x533 in order for it to fit.

Charming little game. Magnetic picking was fun and getting snagged on the trees and obstacles was realistic.
Thank you @tweekus , @mahalis and @flying-dog-fish ! Glad you all enjoyed it. Was my first time actually finishing a game, and with having 3 kids at home and a full time job it was EXTREMELY difficult, but so enjoyable to see the finished product even if it was buggy.

Nice and fun to play! The menu looks a bit rough, but gameplay was simple and effective.
The game lifts my spirits, the visuals and animation are delightful. The objective is clear and genuinely meaningful. Excellent game!
First I was a bit confused what the white line was and why I didn't get on the board :laughing: But when I got that, it was quite clear how to progress. I must say though, I didn't like so much how I got stuck on the obstacles, it did feel quite unfair. I'm guessing the colliders could have been more rounded and maybe have some physics material to permit a better flow while playing.
I tried a couple of times and managed to get 138.
