I got a Binding of Isaac vibe playing this game, and that’s a good thing, I love The Binding of Isaac!
If I have to complain about something it would be the lack of music and sound, sometimes the bullets kept on shooting and the character walking. (But that may be my computer fucking with me)
**Overall** I really enjoyed this game, some polishing and sound-adding and I would play this game a lot, for sure! Thank you so much for this experience and good luck in the future! Have an awesome day, and I hope to see you in the next jam!

@liquidbrain Thanks for the feedback but I don't know what you mean about "lack of music and sound". The game has two soundstracks and for nearly any action a sound effect (shooting, hitting, collecting batteries, hitting enemies, and so on).
Thanks!

I'd like to point out just a couple of things:
- far too many rooms (at least among the one I explored in my playthrough) have the same pack of four small enemies to defeat, and you have to fight them over and over each time you came back to the same room because you found a dead ending; - the shooting is veeeeeery slow, and I found myself pressing the mouse button and then running away (and thus shooting in the wrong directions) too many times
Other than that, it is a fun game with very polished graphics and clear gameplay. A little bit on the hard side, but I think positively: it adds a lot to the "Running out of Power" feeling. Well done!

Very nice game, good graphics but... I keep going "out of screen" on the second room, find a little bit hard to aim and move, the robots are too fast for me ( shame on me )

I liked the game, good graphics and fun, but it's jogability isn't calibrated well

I like the room transitions, they made it feel polished and it seemed like it could be fun but the shooting killed it for me, I found it very annoying because aiming felt impossible

Really well composed game, nice graphics and sound. I think it would benefit from a few (minor) tweaks though:
Using the mouse button to shoot made me instinctively aim with the mouse too, so I think this would be better as a key (or alternatively allow mouse aiming :) )
The only other thing for me was the difficulty curve, I found it really hard to get beyond a few rooms. Maybe this would be better with an improved shooting mechanic, but something like increasing enemy damage as you move further away from the start position would have allowed me to get into it a bit more than I did.
I also hit a random bug where i launched vertically upwards on impact with an enemy, but this only happened once and it was pretty funny to see. I thought I'd hit an insane flying powerup or something!
Nicely done!
Nice game! It looks finished but I suggest some tweaks to make it more playable and fun.
- make the mouse into a crosshairs and make sure the robot actually shoots through it rather than next to it - make the graphics brighter - more enemies and more bullets - more different types of enemies - different looking rooms
There's also a bug where the player falls through the floor and the game gets stuck.

Solid concept but the gameplay could use some tweaks - difficulty was pretty hard, it felt like if you didn't have a good first room or two the game was over. It was a bit frustrating that your shots would collide with enemy shots, and that your shots came out of the right hand/a bit offset from the cursor - I found it a bit hard to hit the small enemies when they were close because of this. Also I ran into a bug where I would fall through a door into the abyss (maybe when going back through an open door, not sure about the circumstances). Fixing these issues & adding some more enemy variety would make this pretty great, keep it up!

Even thoug I liked the concept the controls where way too hard and unforgiving to me. Keep up the good work because this game is on the right path
I figured out the problem with shooting. When you shoot, the robot does indeed aim at the mouse, however, when you move, the robot will aim in the direction it's moving. I think it's clear how unnatural that feels. The robot should always aim at the mouse, even while it's moving, or at least always aim at the mouse while shooting, even while moving. That alone would make this game much better.

I had a lot of trouble aiming with the robot spinning around like it did. A little work on the controls and I think you'd have a pretty cool game though!

It really does have that "Isaac" feeling, with some twin-stick shooter-like gameplay, which is really cool. But it does need some polishing, as the controls kinda felt strange and a bit hard (specially aiming), and in some rooms I just wasn't able to get the battery, since there were obstacle in the middle of the screen.
The visuals and audio are really nice and do create some mood, and with some more polishing on the other parts, I believe you can make it great! :)
Good work!
