I like puzzle games, but unfortunately I did not manage to finish your game. I didn't feel like I had the time to make any meaningful progress before having to restart the generator and it felt more like a chore than a gameplay mechanic. However the mood is really good, the music is tense and the graphics are perfect for this type of jam game. You are perfectly on theme also ! Great job overall.
I liked it! I dunno if you meant for the player to get the "Oh god, no.." screen a lot and simply remember what they had found before.. which is what I ended up doing as it felt like the generator's timer was just a little too short to do any sleuthing. Still, it was a nice little "Escape the Room" experience.
I think the generator time could have been longer than it was. It's almost impossible for a first time player to complete the game with no deaths. I don't know if this is part of the game experience, but I felt a little cheated :(
That's it. I liked the pixel art and the style.

The generator time limit was a bit unforgiving, but it is probably necessary unless you had the time to make a longer game. You also probably could have reduced the amount of text in the beginning. Other than that, the game was really well thought out, I could always tell what items did what, and the graphics were great! Good job!

In the begining I didn't notice the time was running out because I got distracted reading that wall of text, maybe you could have pointed out the controls when reaching the first situation that required them. It felt unpleasent that the time ran out so fast and I wasn't able to explore all the level at the first play(I don't know if was on purpose). Or maybe there was enought time but the character was too slow? hehehe Other than that, is a nice puzzle game, I liked the pixel art character and the music fits really well!
I liked the look of the low ceilings and narrow hallways, it had a sort of claustrophobic effect for me!:) And it felt more serious as a result. Unfortunately, I couldn't get into the game because that darned generator timer. I never had enough time to explore. I understand wanting a rushed vibe since it's a critical situation I guess, but there's a way to strike a balance. I actually had the same problem with my entry!
We get so used to testing our own game that we forget how much longer it takes for someone to really drink the whole thing in: read the text, look at the environment, get curious about the things that we overlook (because we know they're just background tiles;D)
Decent entry though, I think with some minor tweaks you can make a nice experience.
Nice concept and good pixel art :) I would have liked a little more time on the generator and/or for the game to pause whenever there's text to read.

I think this game would benefit with a title screen with the instructions. Not a nice experience if you're busy reading and then you die right afterwards. Also I think you could have used a more zoomed out approach. It looks a bit too cramped on the screen. Otherwise nice little game. Well done.
Nice idea, I'm afraid I really didn't get how to progress though. Am I just dumb or is this unfinished? Nothing I found seemed to contribute any solution. I see the potential though. I like the look and feel of the game though as others have mentioned the generator timer was a bit too short.

I couldn't make any progress because I could hardly get to the door before the generator was half empty. I liked the art and the zoomed in view though.
