Really great! Loved the room-shifting mechanic!

Really great! Loved the room-shifting mechanic!
Great game! When I played the web version it only gave me a split second to read the instructions before moving into the game, so it was a little overwhelming to try to figure out the controls while getting attacked by a mob of cats.
Really nice graphics!
I couldn't really tell if I was playing the game properly though. I would bring the part to the machine indicated by an arrow, but the first and third machines never seemed to actually work, and every part I delivered would make a buzz sound like I did something wrong (but then I would get money anyway?)
Well designed game with a nice difficulty curve!
I really like the style in this one! The gameplay felt a little... random? loose? Like all I can do is just hold my sword forward and hope for the best. Might have made more sense to control the sword's vertical movement instead? Either way, great job!
Nice job on building all of this! Difficulty curve is a *bit* steep, would have been nice to get a chance to learn how to use the whip without lava underneath.
This is one of my favorites: good graphics, nice powerup system, effective audio, and fun to play! Once I got a few powerups I found I was able to just stand at the top firing sideways and maintain that forever; would have been nice if the sides were also possible entry points.
Good work! I really liked the extra touch of an idle animation. Just a shame the camera was so far back.
Attack feels good, but a little more range, or maybe some way to dodge or block or *something* would have helped. I might just suck at this, but I felt like there was no way to attack without always getting hit.
Only big complaint would be the awful font choices.
Lots of *super* cool stuff going on here on a technical level, but I don't feel like it results in a fun _game_. Sound would have really helped this.
Couldn't run this on my Mac (Macbook Pro Retina, 15-inch, late 2013, OS X Sierra 10.12.1). Just gave me this error:
You can't open the application “ld37_ManicMars_1.1(Mac)” because it is not supported on this type of Mac
Felt more like work than play to me, but I loved the mouse explosion when the traps actually work!
Idea seems cool, but I'm having trouble playing it (on OS X). When I bring a spool of fabric to the sewing machine and press X, I'm expecting to get back a bolt of cloth, but nothing happens at all.
Drove me crazy that I couldn't put parts in the assembler while there was a finished toy on its output tray. Good game!
Simple, but well executed. The ammo scarcity seems like it would be a bad idea with this type of game, but it really works here. Great job!
Cool game, I especially liked the super low-res art. I couldn't really tell when I was in danger of losing though. I think I was losing because I wasn't sleeping, but I didn't know I was tired until it was already too late.
Ridiculously good. I don't think I could make this *without* a time limit!
Nice little Christmas mastermind game! Having headphones on, that beep noise when I finished the game was a little rough.
Outstanding! Very impressive art and sound.
LOVE THIS! Sound was great. Easily my favorite entry so far! Wasn't sure how to tell if a given wall is structural or not though. Or maybe it's just random? Either way, great job! :D
Really cool idea! Love that it's educational; takes me back to the Carmen Sandiego days.
I didn't realize at first that you could *only* deliver to the country specifically mentioned, which caused a lot of mistakes on my part. To me it seems harder to deliver something based on only the flag, so it should be bonus points not a penalty. Also it seems like there's no *real* penalty for when you do make a mistake. The player is left to just play until they get bored.
Was frustrated with how slow the movement was, would have really loved a run button. Tank-style control was a little weird I guess, but nice to see someone doing something different!
This was really cool! If I had to make one small critique, the signs on the supply chests could be a little easier to read. Also I think a way to mess with the people you're playing against would have made a great addition, but still this is very impressive!
I like the idea, and the non-euclidean space is cool. The repetitive nature kinda cuts into the fun-factor though.
It's called Hitler's Cactus. How could someone NOT love this? Nice job on the art, love the twist on "One Room" by using time travel!
Really like the idea of having to choose between feeding the player or the room, but in practice I never felt like I needed the upgrades. Not having any sound at all really hurt.
Nice retro arcade-style shooter! Maybe choose different key bindings next time though, Ctrl+Arrow kept changing my current Desktop on Mac.
Playable, but I got bored quickly with no adversaries or progression.
The Cat and Dog don't really seem to do anything other than move around randomly, if they were attacking the player and/or messing up the carpet that might have been a little more engaging.
Of course, considering the short dev timeline this was a good effort!
Love it! Nicely designed puzzle, funny ending. Great job on such a short timeline!
Couldn't run this on Mac OS X (10.12.1). Got this super-helpful message:
The application “KitchenDefender” can’t be opened.
Getting this (unusually harshly worded) error message on OS X (10.12.1):
“Item Phantom” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
Not bad! Took a bit to understand the differences between the traps.
Nice job with the sound! Kinda reminded me of Snake, but without the "your body is lethal to yourself" concept. A little more effort in the graphics would have been nice; I couldn't really remember what did what once the game started.
OS/X link is a Windows app :(
