Couldn't run this on my Mac (Macbook Pro Retina, 15-inch, late 2013, OS X Sierra 10.12.1). Just gave me this error:
You can't open the application “ld37_ManicMars_1.1(Mac)” because it is not supported on this type of Mac
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD37 → Manic Mars Base Manager

Yo cool idea
Interesting concept!
I found it a bit annoying that I sometimes when I was pressing buttons I couldn't also see how it affected the relevant numbers (for example when I was pressing the "remove heat gently"-button I couldn't see how much of the pillar was still red). Once I'd played around a bit (and killed a few hundred people) I got the hang of the game and it was quite engaging.
A shame, though, that there was no acknowledgment of when I reached 350 people.
Cool concept, liked the view on mars.
I didn't get at all how to lock on to the shuttle and therefore lost a lot of population all the time.
Wow! Nice idea! It would be great if you continue developing this! Nice features for a 2-man team in under 72 hours! It was an interesting experience...
If I have to point out something, I suggest you make it more user-friendly so the players can easily understand everything like adding feedbacks when hovering on something interactable...
Very cool, I enjoyed this. Reminded me of my own entry but this has way better art :)
Interesting game, I think I could have used a little easing into it though, everything started going wrong pretty quick.
Honestly this experience doesn't seem at all it was made by a two man team in 72 hours. It feels more like a prototype of something I would see in the market. I am really impressed and if you guys have this idea in mind I would love seeing this progress further.
Took a while to understand what was happening but once I got it I really enjoyed it. Great job!
Fun concept!
I kind-of understand why the consoles are so far away from each other, but I suspect you would get a better 'manic' feel by having them closer together & increasing the frequency of events. That way you could give the player a more leasurely introduction as well, as the time between events decreases.
