Interesting story! I did enjoy the possible choices the player had.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD55 → You Have Been Summoned

Interesting story! I did enjoy the possible choices the player had.
enjoyed the story and the art was perfect, matched the tone and theme of the story very well! Good Work!
Interesting interpritation of the summoning theme, I liked it. Story is cool, visuals are great!! Great work
With most games choosing magical summoning, it is good to see a different take on the theme!
Agree with @momokomoloko, love the take on the theme! Couldn't stop reading the story, and immediately restarting when I failed. Nice entry!
I did not expect to see a visual novel in this jam. I like the interpretation of "summoning" you went for, I loved that you used the UI for story relevant elements such as the summoning letter and I definitely commend your extra work in drawing all the scenes. I think the story would benefit from some more choices because as is, the story gives you a few options to change what happens and if you manage to find the main route (shoutout to the skip button), you end up on a final decision that ultimately more or less leads to the same ending.
I like the jury summoning aspect, as it was brought up in my team's jam discussion. The he writing, graphics, and direction were enjoyable. :)
The lack of music and sound detracted from the experience, especially in a VN styled game, but these jams are so short, it's totally understandable. :)
I love the use of the theme and the artwork and the interesting story to follow. Good work!
Really nice artstyle, fits the theme perfectly. Had to restart a few times for choosing the wrong thing, but got there in the end. All in all, really nice entry, even though I rarely play games like these. Nice job!
I liked that the drawings reminded me of courtroom sketches!
Nice artwork and story! Not so many choices to make, but that's quite understandable. Good job!
I wish there would have been some sounds. It was interesting story, but to be honest, I hate visual novels. Did not like the graphics either. I however respect this entry, the story was good and implementation was solid.
I was a bit sceptikal about the graphics at first but in the end I found myself enjoying them, giving a bit of abstract / weird vibe to the game ! Like @martta I felt the lack of sound pretty hard, but I just ended up playing a "noir detective playlist"(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHAY3FPNCGU) in background and I enjoyed the game way more with that ! About the story, it was really nice ! We did a narrative game too this jam and I feel how hard it is to write a lot of content and give player "choices". But sometimes not much choices are needed to make an immersive story and I feel that it's the case with your game. My only regret is that the "twist" appears a bit too fast in the story in my opinion, a bit more build up would have been a real bonus I think.
Anyway, intersting take on the theme, nice graphics, nice story, well played!
Fantastic! Love the art style, and really creative take on the summoning theme.
There's som really fun visuals to this story, and I think it's a very cool concept! It was a bit short, but it was also a very short time span for a jam, so good job! I'd love to see a longer version later!
I like the concept and the art, I feel like it's short but it's a good game. Good job!
The art and atmosphere are fantastic! Thank you!
It’s one of the most refreshing interpretations of the summoning theme in LD55. The Courtroom sketch style is brilliant to convey the story which I really enjoyed as a long-time visual novel reader. As for the audio, the game was silent but it can be an issue with the WebGL port. Great job!
@krummsakura Thanks for the Comment! We actually ran out of time for the audio so it's silent in the download versions as well. But thanks for the advice!
The art is amazing, it's impressive, but the lack of audio makes it less enjoyable!
I really like the art style, it works very well for the game. The story was short but pretty good, makes me wonder what would happen to the main character afterwards. My only complaints would be the lack of audio (which is understandable), and some typos here and there. Nice to see a Ren'Py entry too.
Good job!
