good start, I like the art
A little slow to get started, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty good. Nice unified art style.
Took me a while to figure out how to play it. Felt quite a lot like fighting barbarians at the beginning of Civilization games!
I like this art style) And cool music!!!
Good idea! A little bit confusing to me at first, but I did play for a while and got to kill some of the enemies. I liked the background music a lot, very intense. Good job. It is a fun strategy game and it interprets the theme well! Here is a couple of things that you could do to improve the experience: * Don't see the purpose of using the mouse. Would be nice to just be able to use keys. * Make the monsters round automatic. Overall fun game!
I think the concept was good! Some comments: - Would've liked more levels. I kept repeating the 2nd level even though I had "victory" and wasn't sure if that was the end of the game - I wasn't able to pickup if I was standing on top of it. I was confused and couldn't figure it out at the beginning - The turn order of Player Movement - Player Action - Monster Movement - Monster Action couldve been explained better as well. I was also confused about this aspect of the game at the beginning
The style is really good ! The big point of the game, I think :D It's unified, it's perfect. The music is very present and it gives a cool atmosphere Really good job :D
I like graphics!
I think this would have benefited from having both move and action combined into one turn, where taking an action ends the turn.
It's quite tricky to understand how to play, the UI is not very clear. The graphics are simple but quite lovely.
Sorry lad this just ain't my cup of tea. maybe this would have been better if it was some thing like a top down survival/ crafting game.
The music is great, and the art is decent. Controls could've been explained somewhere: space rotates through combat phases (player moves, player acts, monsters move, monsters act), WASD moves during the move phase. The game is unfinished, but looks promising. Maybe it can be made into a puzzle game, with different items providing different attacks or abilities. Notes: - The monster pathing can get them stuck in certain rock configurations. - The player can perform as many actions as they want, so they can approach a monster, take their item and smack the monster with it as well. - The monsters cannot attack the player.
I really enjoyed the music with its heavy riff. The graphics are good and the game really is enjoyable. Good work!
