I really enjoyed this! Props to you for trying Godot. I thought it was fun but maybe a little easy. I liked the controls and felt it played well. Nice audio and graphics as well.

Really Nice Game, i actually had fun playing it. Learning a new Engine might be better without that short of a Deadline :D so huge props to you.
Fun play through and good UI and clues for telling when things change, only wish was for a compass or something to know where to run for helicopter, but it was still fun just trying to find it
Solid shooter, proving that all you need for an enjoyable experience is good movement and shooting mechanics. The day/night cycle is very nice and the effects to go along with it work well.
I think I got lucky because I found the evac point after just one cycle, so the current gameplay might be a bit on the RNG side of things and giving some sort of clues to the player would be welcome (with the right balancing).
This is a fun simple shooter. The day/night cycle is cool, i didnt see any bugs i don't think. I think the only big negative is that this game feels like the opposite of limited space, its big! haha
A surprisingly tense but fun game! Between the graphics, sound effects and controls (even controller support, which is always appreciated) the game feels really polished, especially considering the time constraints of a gamejam. Good job dude! win.png
@shaun-meechan I'm glad you enjoyed it ! However audio, graphics and animations are from packs. I just tried to make a good integration of it. I hope I did not forget to opt-out from Audio and Graphics cathegories. Anyway thanks for playing.
@heuser Hehe thanks you ! Short deadline actually helped me not spending to much time on each feature. Without it I can easyly take 2 month juste on the camera and the character. But it depends on each person I suppose.
@troy-korns Actually I thought about that at start. But I never implemented it and as the developement progressed, I realized it would have been to easy to find the helicopter with a compass in such a small and simple level. But you're right if I keep working on the game, this is definitly a feature I need to implement. Thanks for the feedback
@kulmajaba Thanks you! That's true, the game is not well ajusted. Actually I expected the oposite. When I tested it I found it too hard to find the helicopter (so don't tell anyone, but I added a second helicopter on the other side of the map hehe). I'll have to work on that in the possible futur versions.
Good game! Liked it! High five! :) p.s. Would nice to add info about rounds/process of the game.
@griddolini Yeah ! I wanted the player to feel trapped in the alleys surrounded by the zombies and the only way to escape was dashing through them. That was my original interpretation of "Limited Space". But it's never like in your head haha. I never found the right tune to make it happen. Maybe a more scripted approche and a more specific level design can achieve this. But I admit the theme doesn't really shine as it is. I hope you liked it anyway.
@hengen Thanks for taking the time to play until the end. And glad you liked it!
@mein-kun There is no actual rounds or scoring in fact. The only goal is to find the way out (which is an helicopter waiting for you somewhere in the map). But no way you guess it unless you read the full description page (and it's normal to not doing so hehe). The game should say it. That's true. Thanks for your feedback.
Looks nice, and felt good to play, at least with the mouse. The camera changing orientation when going over the street lights was off putting. Unfortunately the game would completely lock up for me whenever I killed a zombie. ``` ERROR: System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'Godot.Timer' to type 'Godot.GpuParticles3D'. at BloodEmiter._Ready() in D:\GodotProjects\rogue-z\Scripts\BloodEmiter.cs:line 12 ``` I still managed to win just by running away though. The frame rate got pretty bad after a while though.
@someone Hi ! Thanks for playing. And sorry you experienced that. It's odd, I never saw this one. I have to take a look. Thanks for the report. For the framerate it's possible, I capped the maximum zombie number but I made the game on a very powerfull device and did not took the time to test it on a smaller config. So I chose the numbrer a bit blindly. I'm curious, what is your config ? (just to know how far I'am from a decent optimization level)
Que legal! dar uma nostalgia parece gráficos de ps1 parabéns!
Great art style and simple but addictive gameplay loop. Would have loved to see a reticle to make it a bit easier to see where you are aiming. Music fit the game really well.
Awesome job!
@bredera Hi ! Thanks for playing and for the feedback ! Actually there is a laser pointer on the right click. While using a gamepad it shows up whenever you use the aim joystick. But for keyboard/mouse support it had no sens to use the mouseMoveEvent so I put it on the right click (which is less obvious).
Congratulations on achieving such a nice result on a new engine! The game is a ton of fun, and it looks good, sounds good and most importantly feels good to play. Good job!
Interesting one. Mowing down a ton of zombies was very fun. Eventually ended up winning, felt like I had a ton of space, though. But the zombie hoards at night certainly fixed that issue. Good work and good luck on getting 20 ratings!
nice game, please give us feedback, thanks
