Very interesting mechanics-wise. The graphics are absolutely fantastic. Sadly, the talking sounds bothered me too much to continue playing for longer. It gets a bit repetetive after a while and real conversations would give the game a lot more depth. Still, very nice work.

liked the card game dating idea. graphics were nice. game was definitely kind of hard because the time to lay down your cards was really short because she kept jumping colors :D
Can't help but laugh every time the date stops talking and looks towards the player. Great job on all of the polish and actually getting a tutorial into the game! Love the artwork too.

@fskr Actually! You can lay down cards whenever you want, you just don't want to hit the "Play" button until the date stops talking.
Wow, I never played a game like this!! This was really something new and a lot of fun! The graphics are amazing!! Clean style and a lot of detail. Even though I dont know how exactly the theme plays into it, the game itself is awesome! Everything just workes so clean and the fact that the menu is a smartphone is very clever! Having to wait for the date to stop talking makes it accually feel like a date a bit :D The cardgame is a nice game by itself but the timing to avoid interrupting adds to it perfectly. Loved it!

Holly molly this is the best jam game I've played so far. The art is out of this world, the theme is unmatchable (tinder pun intended) and the execution and attention to detail is phenomenal. The game is really really great as is but I have 2 possible improvements for a maybe future full game (please please consider it): - Gameplay can feel slow, why do they have to speak for so long? - There's no payoff when you "win" a date

I found myself playing over and over again! The idea is so good, curiosly I found the medium and hard level easier than the first one, I think is better if you play it faster. The art is very well polished too. Great job! :D

Nice graphics! gameplay is a bit strange, I found there is more random than strategic factor to win... (and maybe it could be better if we can remove a card with a right click, not just with a cancel all button...)

Very fun game. Sadly couldn't get past the last guy (impossible). Great art style, good music, and a really fun mechanic that created a strategy game i enjoyed immensely. It would be nice if there were cards with negative values though. I think that would bring room for even more strategies.
HOW TO MAKE THEM TO SHUT UP!? Damn it! haha Cool entry! I'm not that fond of dating sims, but I really enjoyed playing it. The art is great as is the music and sfx, which really add it up. Like I said before, dating sims is not my thing, so I think I need a little more mechanics to be more interesting to me, but overall, great job!
@dunin I absolutely agree about removing a card with right click. Unfortunately that's a complex to write with how I implemented mouse picking (I'd basically have to rewrite it). It's definitely doable! But not in the time constraint I had. That will be a quality-of-life fix for the post-jam build, as well as other things like volume sliders and such.

The art, sound, and gameplay were all top-notch! I felt like the last guy was mostly impossible due to the RNG, so that didn't feel super fair, but I still enjoyed trying! Excellent job!
Really solid game, with multiple levels, in 72 hours! Way to go! I particularly enjoyed this one and progressing through the different levels. I encountered no bugs or any other weirdness, overall, just a polished game. As for gameplay, it was a lot of fun. Figuring out the strategy and balance of when to pounce into the conversation is bit like...well,...real dating! Then, figuring out I could lay day cards and then swap them out if the conversation shifted was an exciting gameplay breakthrough. My only suggestion would be to add a way to swap out cards (say, swap your 2nd card with something else), especially for the harder levels. The voiceovers in the audio were a bit jarring for my taste, but overall, this was a ton of fun to play. Thanks for sharing it!
I'm on the last version of Firefox, and sounds and music works well. I had a very-all-slowing issue (my PC is old and do not have lot of memory), but after a couple of minutes it returned to normal, and I manage to beat Ultimate Final Alec. It's an original take of the theme, and an original mecanic for a dating game (with cards, I think it's the first time I see that!), it was fun to think strategic just for this kind of game. Thank you for the play, and welle done. :)

The whole speed dating means card choice system meets UNO was a really interesting concept. I really liked the music and how everything had a wolf theme. It just felt really clean. Sometimes, the RNG was too harsh where there was no way to comeback from the point you were at.

The game perfectly encapsulates the terror of being on a first date. The ballooning expectation that comes with each exchange, the fear of not answering with the right things, and scouring your brain for the right things to say but coming up blank, and all the while time/energy/brainpower runs out slowly. It's a terrifying tightrope, and damnnnnnnnnnnn this gets it so right.
Love that the more you played the more the emergent properties of the game reflecting real life comes through. SO GOOOOOOD
Without that tutorial the concept wasn't so clear, but the tutorial was perfect.
SHIP SHIP SHIP!!! I mean sure yes it could use more variation down the line but the the mechanics are so THEMATIC! I kinda wish you could play this two player, but I'll leave you to figure that out. And with a physical game version :)

What a classy game. The restaurant, the dates, and the music all work together to provide a cozy dating experience for players.
I like to prepare my cards beforehand so that when it's my turn to talk, I can quickly play them. Being able to swap cards more quickly would be very helpful.
The concept of the game was well executed and it has the right amount of stress like in a real date.

The art in this is really nice, liked the design of the characters and the layout. Also the use of the speed dating idea was cleverly done with the cards and an interesting use of the theme.
I had way more fun with this than I expected to. Every LD there's a few card game based ones and they're normally pretty meh but this one was pretty sick, graphically and mechanic wise. Would've liked a better payoff when you win, but it was pretty dece. Took me until the very end to actually work out exactly how the points were calculated (lol 1:1, I just didn't notice that for ages), and then won the last battle pretty much immediately after figuring out how it works.
