Not sure if this is just a problem on my end, but the game crashed my Chrome when I tried to boot it up. I'm on Mac, so it could just be my system. Good luck!

@warren-fisher The browser version requires SharedArrayBuffer support so it will not work across all browsers. Specifically I noticed that it doesn't open with uBlock Origin enabled. If that's the case I recommend downloading one of the desktop versions. There aren't MacOS binaries, but you should be able to import the source code in Godot and run it from there.
I really enjoyed your art style and mood of the game. Unfortunately, I wasn't too sure if I was playing it right. I would hit boot, wait, then go flying in the air and die. Hope I was missing something cause I really wanted to see more of the game!
@nickcherns That was an intentional mechanic. I tought it would be obvious when the computer turns red, but I know the computer is not easy to notice, because you quickly start flying upward. In this part of the game you need to find an other way around.
Is this a TempleOS reference?, well as a linux user when I see a terminal with "booting..." I get excited, good job!
@omitsu Not really. I had to make a name for an evil Operating System and this is what I came up with. I have heard of TempleOS and it may influenced my choice, but I think the game is inspired more by the game "Dunnet".
Love the art style! Sounds worked great too and created an eery atmosphere. I got stuck at the point where the only options were math quiz, joke and cleaning clothes so I assume that was the end? Would have definitely loved more gameplay from this (unless I did something wrong and missed a huge chunk of the game lol).
@larazofia Yes that is the end of the game. You must have missed the message that is shown when you first boot up the OS saying that you have won. The game is so short because I didn't have much time to make it (Compo).
@happyglitch oooh didn't even realize it was compo, makes sense then. Great job!!
@larazofia Thank you! This time I decided to focus more on the visuals than gameplay and I expected it would turn out short. But maybe someday I'll turn it into a complete game.
This entry is super atmospheric and the sounds and graphics really come together to make it immersive. Great work!
Great mood
Even though it's an extremely short game, I appreciate games that have something original and innovative to say. This game feels personal, and it conveys something that I've valued above other games that try to create a longer or deeper gameplay experience but fail in the attempt by making something generic and soulless. Keep working and improving on future Ludums, please.
cool, I like the mood, especially the rain sounds (?), assuming they were rain sounds
What a fascinating game, I'm not sure whether I'm meant to be spooked or chuckling. I think you may have an off-by-one error on the month in the computer date display, or maybe that's part of the whole thing somehow and I just don't get it.
Nice and tricky game! Cool submission
@henk You're right, it is an error lol. I have no idea how I missed that.
Very atmospheric! I like the silhouette art style with the accentuated blood. The lighting effects and the rain are really neat too, I think they add a lot to the and it was a stormy night feel. Same with the rain audio, it really helps set the mood. The jokes made me laugh, the ocean one is the best one, I liked that messiah OS option. You made a cool game here, great job!
Managed to boot the OS in the end, nice! Great atmosphere; everything works together really well in that regard. You had a very interesting vision. In case you decide to work on this after LD, then with some extra gameplay, this could be an interesting game!
Really cool art and atmosphere!
