Hello fellow UE users! Good to see another Unreal game. I think the amount you guys got done in the time frame is super impressive and you did a great job, especially for your first time developing in UE5 properly. Well done!
The gameplay mechanics in this game are so intuitive! It’s like the controls become an extension of your own instincts. Plus, the art style adds a unique flair that keeps you engaged throughout. Definitely a gem worth exploring!
Wow this game is so much fun! Love how to integrated the keyboard input to successfully put down a troop. Loved the feature where if you messed up the combo, the enemy would not spawn. Great work! Reminded me of Dance Dance Revolution.

The way the creatures are spawned I don't like that. Thats a personal opinion though. I have played this kind of games where you place minions to complete the the level and I prefer the click to select and click to position mechanics. In our game we wanted to do a similar spawning mechanism where you type something to summon something but we scrapped that idea due to time limitation though. I have played this kind of system of spawning (summoning ) in some other game too I don't like it there either. But hey I games jams are best to test out new mechanics right.
