Downfall vibes i feel, good I think it would be great for the pace if there was an option to accelerate and decelerate or something.

winie 2025-04-08 20:25

@tugaryn yeah the pacing is a slow. We try to make it feel faster by the music. XD

I love games with physics! The game feels really nice to play. It was also really funny when a frog gets hit by the bucket and falls down. The music is a little bit too repetitive for me. It was real nice, thanks for letting me play it, and keep it up!

The frog scared me XD The game was very fun to play and It's one of a kind. Great job :)

ok I HATE THOSE FROGS. Is there even water down the well?? I'll never now XDD

mdsalomon 2025-04-12 18:53

very cool twist on the downwell experience. Physics were surprisingly consistent and the game got a lot less stressful when I noticed I could hang on to the walls for a bit, even if the frogs are evil. Things got a bit too violent when the mushrooms appeared, I wish I could reel in the bucket a bit just to make some last second dodges. Alternatively, I feel like a game where you actively use a bucket to smack down creatures would be pretty fun as well. There's a lot to play around with here

Fun game! Frogs are very good at aiming, but I like that you force the movement that way.

Well done!

deadjolly 2025-04-13 02:35

The movement felt abrupt for how small the game area is. A little acceleration/deceleration on the movement would go far in making the game feel better. I did manage to make it to the bottom, but the game was pretty difficult. A little confused as to why the bucket has health instead of the robot, but the swaying on the bucket was cool!

My descent from the stream :)

Minimalistic and challenging! Really well done :)

FROGS ARE PURE EVIL :frog:

It took several tries but I made it to the water! Lovely physics with the bucket and hose and the minimalist music worked well here. And those evil frogs gave me a hard time before I figured out I could bait them by swinging the bucket.

cool! these frogs are so evil and cute :). music a bit too repetitive, imho.

It wasn’t easy, but definitely doable! As others have said — frogs are pure evil 😈 I love how they smile when you get close, like they know.

Not sure if it was intended, but I managed to time things by trapping the bot against the sides — worked surprisingly well!

You can hang on the wall. I liked the idea of controlling the pendulum!

pauldee427 2025-04-25 17:19

Some aspects of the game feel a little *too* inspired by Downwell, though gameplay-wise, they are quite different, partially thanks to the physics-based bucket, though it comes at the cost of the controls feeling less exact. Also, because the map is not procedurally generated, the game changes into a sort of puzzle, where you strategize about what is the optimal path to avoid damage. The challenge was nice, but in the end, I ended up winning by figuring out like others, that you can stop the robot on the walls, and I am not sure if that was an intended mechanic, because then the game becomes fairly easy. Overall, nice presentation and pretty fun gameplay.

Down bucket well. Physics are well done.

texugo 2025-04-25 18:52

I missed having a option to reel in the bucket because sometimes you almost had no choice other than being hit by those damn bats! Even so, it was still fun an engaging! Good game.

winie 2025-08-04 19:21

I'm glad that the game was played! It was developed by just two people. We simply wanted to submit a fun and finished game. I'm honestly surprised by how well it was received!
