Nice Undertale gameplay, I always wanted to see more games with that kind of gameplay. My strat? Hit 'em with the bottom left option to make them vulnerable, and then clap them with the bottom right one a couple of times. Works every time. Also the death screen made me laugh out loud, caught me off guard. Thanks guys.

The graphics are truly amazing, the best I've ever seen at a game jam! The theme of toxicity and how to fight it is also a strong narrative idea, the moment with how to deal damage in the mini-game is a little unclear, I always died in the first dialogue... But the game is still one of the most worthy.

Nice art. The stages that have aimed hearts and aimed droplets without warning seem to be much harder than others. I'm not sure whether the INTERACT move works, is it a bug or lack of time or maybe I misunderstand something?

art is so well done! I wish there was a more conclusive end though. Or maybe I didn't get to the end correctly? either way, it was a nice little undertale clone. If I were to try and give some constructive criticism it would be that the combat attacks happen really suddenly sometimes, it'd be nice to have just half a second before the attacks come in. The third battle also repeated attacks on me, I'm unsure if that was a bug or if it was by design to make the final fight harder, but that should be made more clear to the player. And finally, I wish the talking had more impact on gameplay, not just text, but I also understand the time limitation. Overall I had fun! well done guys

Ngl, the losing screen got me good, haha Even tho ofc, its nothing to laugh about, that violet got hurt, but the pose: COMEDY

Anyways, I really like how you implemented both the fighting system of Undertale, but also craft your own mix into the fighting. As many others said, I love the artstyle and the dialogue is really well written too!

The art is SO GOOD! As others mentioned already, the third encounter felt buggy with the dodging sequence repeating every enemy attack. And the ending was missing a little something... But thats more than understandable given this short amount of development time. Thanks you for the awesome experience :)

I played a bit, thanks for providing a linux build. Like everyone else is saying the art is phenomenal. I liked the under-tale like turn based fighting system with the little bullet hell bit, I wish the music changed during that though. Only got up to the second fight, I stopped playing because I was frustrated that I couldn't end the fight with any of the "interact options" I just had to fight them. Also the swearing was a bit excessive at times. Overall very nice though, be especially proud of the character design.

That game is pretty good, although way too infuriating because of some very small choices.

Am I seeing some undertale and project moon boss fights inspiration ? That Sans pattern during the third fight sure did open back some wounds.

I feel it would have been better if you could immediately retry the combat you failed at instead of having to go back through the gauntlet, and I'm a little sad the interact button is mostly useless, except for ticking down status effects (unless I'm missing something), which contributes to making the game pretty frustrating. There's also the fact of having a dominant strategy of using bottom left, bottom left, bottom right, bottom right, to win each combat with the less risk. The other options just aren't worth it.

Sadly, I didn't have the patience or skill to reach the end, that third combat with double attacks each round is too much for me, and having to restart from the first one doesn't help. But I will say, the graphics are indeed gorgeous, and that "not accepting bullying masquerading as teasing" story line did strike a cord.

You can all be proud of your first jam game (if you didn't participate in a jam other than LD beforehand)

The mood of this game is just amazing! The graphics, the music and overall theme of the game fit so nice together. I didn't understand that I need to play a mini game to avoid damage at first, but when I figured it out, the gameplay was pretty fun, even though quite stressful :sweat_smile:

Very nice art and music, it gives a lot character to the game. The minigame was fun, trying to work out a strategy for reliably dodging each attack pattern. Having checkpoints would help a lot for beating the game, but with how little time you get it's understandable how it can be hard to implement quality of life features.

Wonderful little game, it honestly got a little uncomfortable to play as it hit a bit close to home but if anything that just goes to show how great it is. The art is undeniably great, the talksprites are expressive and I loved how the enemy sprites represented the people violet was talking to in a more abstract way. Also loved the death screen, caught me of guard lol. The only issue with it is that the fights sometimes felt like they took a bit too long and would've benefitted from being shortened or had checkpoints between fights to alleviate it. Other than that it's a great game jam game :D

This game is fantastic! The gameplay was similar to Undertale, but the creepy atmosphere reminded me of Persona or Catherine. I was feeling very confident until I died in the 3rd fight-- the hitboxes were very forgiving, but still those spikes were just too quick for me to react to. A checkpoint would have been nice, but I still thoroughly enjoyed my time. As many have said, the art is excellent. The quality of animation in a jam game like this is honestly phenomenal. I could see the game being expanded into a very successful full release someday if you wanted to. Great work to everyone on the team!

It was really interesting seeing how you interpeted different skills as attacks for each boss. Though unfortunetely I died on the third boss. Would have been great if there was a restart level button, if given more time. The art is lovely, and I really enjoyed the story. Nevertheless, great work!

Nice Undertale inspired game! On point with the jam, beign deep in thoughts, overthinking way too much. Love the art! It's great! Also it's quite challenging!

I just missed those sounds, it would have been great to have some damage feedback at least! Also the music, it made me sleepy. I wished I had some more action in the music, I mean, I'm stressing out right here evading a lot of projectiles! 😅

A bit hard to play for me, the story seems to be deep. i didn't finished it. But i enjoyed the dialog battle. The music made me a bit anxious whyle playing. Not realy my type but over all everything was cool, gameplay and graphics.

This is quite a cute game! I felt motivated to play well because I empathized so much with the bunny and her problems. It’s a great and interesting topic for a game, and a uniquely creative way to interpret the theme. The Undertale-like gameplay works really well with this idea too. Overall, this game is great. Well done!
