It's a pretty simple yet engaging game. Maybe it's just me after 48 hours of intense work, but I feel like a version without the timer would be nice. I scored 85 points, but those ticking seconds really wore me out. The sounds are fantastic! Marbles feel like the perfect object for this kind of tactile, sound-focused game.

I enjoyed this great little trainer for reflex and matching. nice work!

I just love these kinds of games. But the timer is way too harsh. There could be two modes : 1 without a timer and you score more points how fast you collect them and 2nd mode where you have the timer. You can also make the timer increase when you succeed. I had a level (i guess random) to find 5 marbles. A bit harsh and it was after almost 2 minutes of satisfying collecting. The idea that it is random is that you sometimes have to find 1 match and sometimes 3 etc... But again, I like these kinds of games. Well done and congratulations on publishig a game.

Thanks you all for playing my game !

@bereg @mdotedot For the timer, for a more chill version, I agree with you that adding a mode without the timer can quite interesting. I was more focus on making an arcarde game, so I wasn't thinking of a mode like this. When making the timer i was facing 2 options, making it like this, with a little timer for each new board, or making a much longer timer (like 2 min) for the total try. I chose to go with the first option by taste, but maybe the second one were better.

I really like this game! The pixelated effect makes the balls harder to spot, which is great. I would have appreciated some background music, well done!

Cool little relaxing game. It may be simple but it's quite fun and you get quickly hooked. Congrats!

cogcomp 2025-10-07 20:58

That was a lot more addictive than I was expecting. Personally I found that I automatically got the "main" colour right when looking but I had to count the check the colour streaks several times.

Fun game! Drew me in more than I was expecting... for some reason reminded me of the "find Luigi" minigame...

Thank you two for playing my game

@cogcomp, there's will be always two trims for each marble. The real only difficulty is that I made a pink trim, and it doesnt match well with the red marble, so yeah, one point to improve futher.

@willops I was exactly thinking of this mini game when making this haha The only difference is that is wasn't making the marble to move to save time on the developpement (thinking about animation of the marbles rolling)

Very fun little game! Unfortunately I don't know my score since I clicked in the last second but I think it was around 100. I liked the design of the marbles and that they were relatively easy to distinguish.

infernaton 2025-10-10 10:32

@grid96 yeah, I could have make a "best score" UI to show while playing to try to beat. Thanks for playing tho !

Game feels really nice to play. I'm not sure if the fact the the number of marbles in each stage is random an is better or worse than gradually increasing the number. It does feel different. Also I wasn't sure if the timer became faster? Something in the sound made it sound like something was escalating, but I couldn't figure it out

Nice job!

This is the kind of quick game that has a very simple premise, but with more polish and variation you can even have a game you can distribute and sell for mobile. Good job submitting for the compo, try adding just a tiny more (a simple music and some particle effects) and perhaps a high score.

Pretty solid find-the-match game. I really like the design of the marbles, they strike a good balance between being different enough to spot on sight, but similar enough I still have to scan for them.

Simple, relaxing and pretty fun.

Nice little game. It's simple, but the concept is effective, and it fits the theme well.

The sounds are satisfying, so it sits somewhere between relaxing and stressful

Good job!

Ehhh, A Marbles Gaaaaames Tooo! I scored 93; I wanted to hit 100, but my brain just froze seeing the timer ticking down. Simple, smooth, and visually appealing, really impressive for a solo dev. I really enjoyed relaxing with it during my work break, thank you for that. Hope you get the last votes you deserve.
