I have saved the realm! Great concept and solid execution. I love how the locations change, and with them the music changes too, and the tension keeps rising. This could easily be a mechanic in a larger medieval RPG: sitting atop a tower, scanning the horizon, with the fate of the kingdom depending on how attentive you are. Great game!

After lighting about 5 or so, I fell down a cliff and was able to run around on the terrain below. I went all the way to the edge, then fell off and was able to look up behind me and see everything drifting away from below! :) Nice idea

Saved the kingdom, then fell through the map like an idiot. Watched everything float away from underneath. Best accidental experience ever.

Love how the music shifts with each location — tension never stops. Solid fucking concept.

Nice glitch. Great game.

The concept is fun, the music really adds up to the atmosphere, you even expect something more complicated than fire in the horizon (like enemy army or whatever) Expected some sort of twist in the end, but no, I just saved the realm. Pretty decent game, though. I had a good time.

Going into this I wasn't sure what to expect, whilst it wasn't a puzzle game or action game I felt it really told a story. Transitioning to the next location and playing as a brand new panicked and confused beacon guard was great, the growing tension from the music and changing environment added a lot. Felt like I was in Lord of the rings or something. Seeing the castle appear and knowing I was going to have conveyed a message across the realm in a matter of minutes was a triumphant feeling.

Really liked this, fantastic work and a cool twist on signal

actually original. the pixelated filter makes it hard to spot the smoke sometimes but its fine.

Cute.

I particularly liked the music. It really helped give the game a pressing mood.

Always love the moody atmosphere that your games have. The atmosphere of this game was immaculate and the music complemented it beautifully. Definitely felt like that scene from lord of the rings.

Since this is your first Unity game I was expecting some jank, but damn. This game still feels amazing lol. The vistas were beautiful. I think the placement of some of the invisible walls was a little annoying though, especially when I was trying to platform upwards and get a vantage point to see the next signal

That said, cool little narrative game in a way. Loved how you could feel the danger in the first area with the sounds of the town during a battle

Also, floating tree ftw

I loved the locations, the jungle settings are really. The concept is cool and the game can be developed into a powerful contemplative experience. Also I don't want to be THAT guy but I gotta encourage you to develop without vibe-coding

I beat it! I really enjoyed this. I liked the environments and the atmosphere was very strong. The chime when locating the fire was nice feedback.

I was also impressed with how many interesting levels were made for this. Nice work.

Very, very cool, music was brilliant, rising tension was definitely felt, and once I got what you were getting at with the signals everything felt very creative. Nicely done!

Great visual puzzle game. I loved that you could recognize previous landmarks at each new location, made the realm feel vast and that I was actually making a difference lighting the smoke signals. Also the subtle progression from mountains, to desert villages, to the final castle made the experience feel like a journey. I imagine this is how Hadrian's Wall or the Great Wall of China must have been like ;)

Music was hype, battle sounds added to the urgency. Loved the lofi-crunchy 3D polygons. Great aesthetic! The graphics were awesome overall but the fire effect felt a little undercooked and didn't match the rest of the aesthetic.

The first or second signal was hard to actually get lined up in my sight circle to actually trigger it, all of the others worked well without issue. That one seemed fidgety though.

Otherwise great job doing this solo!
