I couldnt win it for the life of me xD but I did really enjoy it. It was a little unclear exactly what did what or how effective things were, but the game was very nice to play~ nice job :) oh right and the video link for the tutorial is broken btw~

Nice idea, good work

nicolas-diniz 2020-04-20 08:44

That's a really cool game ! The graphics are really nice to, at least the finished ones. The only thing is the lack of quit/close button, since the game is in fullscreen. I had a great time !

Really good game! and can't helping noticing the [LD46_KeepItAlive_BackUpThisFolder_ButDontShipItWithYourGame] folder XD.

One small piece of advice: if there is some kind of feedback loop on the base, it would bring more dynamic into the game.

runuchok 2020-04-20 13:07

@thearchitect Yeah! i didn't even bother) It's open source project so leave it all there! Thanks for feedback!

Wow! That's a great mature game, it has potential to grow into a really fun and clever strategy game. Well done, I really enjoyed playing it.

Nice entry! Love the concept. But a little bit too hard for me. Keep up the good work

davision 2020-04-22 11:51

Really cool, we had a bit of a similiar idea! That with the connections required is a bit confusing. The gameplay is really interesting but could use more polish.

binaryprinciple 2020-04-23 04:15

Wow!!! I loved this game quite a lot!, very enjoyable, once you get the mechanics it becomes very strategic! Once of the best I played so far.

caeonosphere 2020-04-23 08:28

I won! Tanks OP, but Hives even more OP. I liked this twist on tower defense, growing out from a central location and keeping all sides defended. Nice work!

runuchok 2020-04-23 09:26

@caeonosphere You are a legend! Right now i'm building balance patch, to make it more fair!

daepso 2020-04-25 09:12

Nice game! It still needs some balance but the idea is very good.

vizitas 2020-04-25 09:36

Wow, Super fun, felt like playing starcraft with zerg, just out grow your enemies :D, Good job. Some audio would have been nice, but other than that perfect!

Interesting concept, though not the style I usually play. I kept playing until ~33%, then I gave up.

A couple of points that could be improved, though I understand that this was hard to do in one weekend: - it is not completely clear what all the structures do, and what are the rules for building them. Moreover, the intro screen speaks about a tower, but I didn't manage to build any during the game. - I could use more visual feedback for what's going on. Overall, the game would be easier to play if there were missions, or perhaps a small tutorial. But then again, great job for a weekend, especially when you're recovering.

hadb 2020-04-25 10:21

Really really cool! :D But i die once the tanks are coming !

By the way i've got a bug - no more active brains, progress at 17% and the enemies are still coming bug_alien.PNG

(sorry for bad english)

runuchok 2020-04-25 12:15

@ondrasej Yeah, i stumbled on explaining what does what) Game needs some sort of step-by-step tutorial for basic of growing "tumors" and evolving them to towers by right clicking))

@hadb Yeah, lose screen is not showing up( I think it's bugging progress bar too... Did you play original suggestion or "balance fix"?

hadb 2020-04-25 13:23

@runuchok the original one. I've just tested the balanced one now but the bug is still there. Also i survived longer '^^ but it still hard to get it well (up to 60% after that i got crushed). Keep it up!

Fine! Just great!
