Dwarf go brrrrrrrr hahaha

Nice and simple premise with cute artwork and great music. I could really see this being a lot of fun on mobile or the nintendo switch or such with gyro/tilt controls! Great stuff!

Amazing graphics, perfect mood. Easy to learn, hard to master.

This game is addictive and frustrating, which is a perfect combo.

Hi ! It was a great experience, loved the graphics and found the sound design really interesting with the mix of different genres of materials, I died many times and enjoyed ! Nice detail with the multiple fun puns !

Super elegant gameplay, the lines in the end made me laugh and the artwork is awesome. One tiny improvement, I think people would prefer a slightly easier entry point. Super solid entry.

Fantastic visuals and it really fits the theme.

As another comment said, addicting and frustrating: perfect!

I felt a bit motion sick after a short time so couldn't play for too long but nice work nonetheless!

Hey! Awesome gameplay, I played it dozens of times and it's still exciting, great job!

Wonderful game you've made, I really liked. Graphical depiction of dwarf was really cute and the background music was on spot. Only thing I missed is some MenuUI for ending the game and having some bigger feedback for high speed crashing.

its a great game!

zype 2021-04-27 16:01

The whole game is exactly on point for this theme. This is one of my favourites so far this jam. The gameplay wasn't repeatative and it was fun to keep on playing. All around fantastic game!

I am dwarf digging a hole...

I had a surprise with this game, was way creative, but its hard to get a reaction with the normal camera zoom and "earth move speed"

truechips 2021-04-27 17:17

Very good! I like the idea!

saileeich 2021-04-27 17:20

This would be a great mobile game! Great graphics and gameplay. Fits the theme nicely aswell

Heyoo!! I really enjoyed it, much fun, and totally into the theme. Nice entry! It is already a very challenging task to make a game based on physics to work, especially gravity, but oh boy, with a mine cart working together with a floor and a ceiling in 2D? Good job! I missed a brake command to try to slow down the minecart, particularly when I saw the warning signs I hadn't enough time to react. Loved the art style!

Simple game with one main mechanic, but it was so addicted fo me!

xxatrain223 2021-04-28 01:39

Fantastic!

Great idea to use the angle of the earth to control the speed and acceleration of the object. The game is cute, but punishing. I enjoyed playing it, nicely done!

Unique twist is you control the Environment for the Player.. After more than 11 runs, the 12th run started to feel nice seeing the dwarf zipping through the tunnels as camera zooms out.. only gripe is the control-rate of rotation. I tend to then explore edge-cases: - Start by intentionally left (witnessed the dwarf partially hanging out-of-bounds for a chuckle) - rotate-right to extreme angle (intentional to make it close to 90') - attempt to have the dwarf flip on itself (not that easy) The character design remind me of the modern remake of Spelunky, nice!

Suggestions: 1. Have more faster rate of rotation (perhaps it gets more faster or responsive after every ramp or hazard-warning?) 2. This would seem interesting to have this game played on a mobile device, If you were so happen to make an update to include tilt control, and post a WebGL somehow the Unity3D WebGL appears to work for mobile browser (apparently on a chrome mobile browser; Android Tablet).

Curious if it's endless or there's a distant goal? It's got a hook in a feel like Jetpack Joyride!

Great concept! Congrats!
