Very pretty and nice unique gameplay. I feel like the explosions are a bit too big though, they tend to occlude the enemy cars.

Fun and very interesting mechanic. Would love to see more.

To echo above, explosions did seem to obscure the screen a bit more then it should've. Sound design would be nice too.

Thats so much fun! i love the art and the gameplay is amazing! the selection is a little bit wonky however.

Interesting gameplay, very addictive game. I like the artstyle and all the particle effects. Nicely done.

I like the graphics! Nice game

Nice game! The gameplay is very fluid and intuitive, I had no problem picking it up at all :)

The aesthetics were also very nice, the blue and red colours of the player/enemies help the game really well.

The only trouble I really had was that sometimes my cars would move behind my giant truck and they wouldn't even be really visible anymore. Maybe some sort of outline for cars that are occluded would help with this a little bit, although it's not a big issue anyways since there aren't too many cars to keep track of.

I would love to see more from this game - maybe some sort of progression would be cool. Things like player upgrades, different enemy types, the ability to buy new cars, would all be great additions in my opinion.

Overall, the game is fun and really polished. Great work! :)

apart from the missing "goal", the idea and concept is really cool and well executed. I had no sound or music but it seems to not be a bug.

Nice graphics, fun little game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/4GNiWeaqklM

A very good idea. It's 5

pixel-error 2020-04-21 14:22

This one is very innovative!

harry-alissavakis 2020-04-21 16:05

Damn, I swear I wanted to make a similar game recently, it's crazy how you basically had the same idea. Really well implemented too, despite the lack of audio. Great job! :D

Very well made! I wish so much there was sound and music too. Convoy was one my favourite films, but this actually reminded more of Roadwarrior :D I can see there is some potential in this.

kaisean-games 2020-04-26 22:19

Too bad there's no sound, it would really make a difference.

Otherwise, well done with the graphics! The style is really effective.

I felt like the game is too easy... I've just put all my vehicles, except the big one, towards the place where the enemies were coming from. They lasted for quite a while...

In any case, this has a potential to become something, so keep working on it  If you got time, that is.

The gameplay and the visual style is really cool. With some music and sound effects, could this have been one of the best games in this jam. Overall is this a good compo game. Well done.

cheesepencil 2020-04-29 00:50

I thought the exaggerated explosions were great and totally in keeping with the overall aesthetic of the game. I lost my battle welder halfway through and still made it to the end, so maybe it's too easy? A little BGM would have gone a long way, too but I get it, it's compo, compo is really hard and this is really good so kudos!

matt-greenbury 2020-04-29 13:20

Hope it gets sound post jam I really like the mad max tactics. thnx for the game

Awesome game. Fun to play. I loved the low poly graphics and explosion effects. I wish there were more vehicles would have been even more fun.
