Wooow

guadalupe-murgo 2024-10-06 22:50

WOW, amazing job and very good physics

sviborg 2024-10-07 17:49

This is just a godsend! 🤩 The game captivated me from the first minute. I have never encountered parkour mechanics like this before. Creating chaos is very exciting, and each new obstacle makes you think strategically. The art style and animations are also top notch! 👏 Great job! 🌟

shakirovich 2024-10-07 22:58

@sviborg thank you for feedback, I tried to bring the feel of early 3D cartoons for nostalgia, I wasnt sure until the end, but it turned out pretty great.

shakirovich 2024-10-07 22:59

@guadalupe-murgo Thank you, it was tricky to figure it out at the beginning, but it paid off at the end.

munchie-games 2024-10-07 23:06

This is absolutely epic, I think you could build this into a full thing

shakirovich 2024-10-07 23:21

@munchie-games Thank you, some people told me the same, Ill think about it if the feedback will be positive.

budster16 2024-10-08 01:34

Very neat game with cool physics and systems, I did find myself spending a ton of time building bridges and also sometimes when I threw an item down, it wouldn't break which felt like softlocking. Overall pretty fun!

shakirovich 2024-10-08 01:37

@budster16 Thank you, Im fixing the breaking right now, sorry for the issues with it, if you complete all tasks you will get satisfying ending screen.

shakirovich 2024-10-08 01:43

@budster16 Have you tried any of the races? was timing enough on them?

tinykidtoo 2024-10-08 03:07

Really great job on the graphics, I failed to get around as I found it hard to build any bridges or just navigate the terrain. But I like the idea.

shakirovich 2024-10-08 03:13

@tinykidtoo Hey thank you for feedback, do you have any suggestions on what could be made to make the process of building bridges easier.

tinykidtoo 2024-10-08 05:11

@shakirovich I was overshooting a lot and falling off the tower. Or just having issues getting higher with each following Dommy. Maybe making them slightly sticky?

shakirovich 2024-10-08 05:14

@tinykidtoo Thank you, I wanted to implement that, but time caught up on me, Ill probably do it in future iterations if game receives enough feedback.

alxje 2024-10-08 06:00

Simple but effective mechanism! Great job!

sted 2024-10-08 09:26

Interesting mechanic, I really like how you can stack them one on another. Also, the story is funny and cool. Great job!

crozzy 2024-10-08 09:30

It's a very interesting idea, I liked it. The mechanics of the game are cool and the game itself looks nice

pomidor-carry 2024-10-08 09:42

Had this idea in mind when I first heard the theme! Very cute protagonist. Art style is cozy and fits the game. Didn't really like movement sound, especially that it kinda multiplies and lays over itself again and again but it's just a jam after all Awesome game!

wisstopher 2024-10-08 10:06

This feels so full for a compo entry, I love to see how much people can get done in the time. Played really intuitively and the art was great to boot. Great entry.

velvetlobster 2024-10-08 11:55

Wow, this is pretty cool—it's like a cross between World of Goo and Katamari, and it also gives off vibes of that game I am fish. Wow, I absolutely loved the sounds. It's so satisfying to hear the ball rolling and sticking. Man, I could play this for hours on end.

bombadrill 2024-10-08 11:59

shakirovich 2024-10-08 16:52

@bombadrill Спасибо за отзыв, согласен что не хватило динамики, я думаю это из-за отсутствия препятствий и врагов, если буду продолжать то постараюсь добавить больше элементов из классических 3D платформеров, как история игрушек.

shakirovich 2024-10-08 16:53

@velvetlobster Thank you for such positive review

shakirovich 2024-10-08 16:55

@wisstopher Thank you, I was surprised with what I was able to achieve so much in short time, I never did anything like this before, had to stay awake until last night to get it done.

kirass 2024-10-08 17:36

I really liked this game! It's awesome!

nazariglez 2024-10-08 18:43

Impressive work for just 48 hours! I really love the graphics, and the gameplay with the polished physics feels great. Congrats, this is a fantastic job!

sdcorpse 2024-10-08 19:16

i could not find any races) Where are theY?

shakirovich 2024-10-08 20:51

@sdcorpse Hey, one starts on chimney ends near sink, another one on kitchen shelves, and one on the attic, you need to climb there either through boxes, or kitchen shelves.

shakirovich 2024-10-08 20:53

@nazariglez Thank you for feedback

2024-10-08 22:18

This 3d platformer has an interesting mechanic and great art. Would like to see final product.

lakea 2024-10-09 10:45

A fun take on the 3d platformer mechanic with stack sprites ect, great entry well done.

mashak 2024-10-09 11:50

очень понравилась игра, особенно эти забавные существа за которых мы играем

ellaris 2024-10-09 12:35

Pretty cool, I'm not sure how it was supposed to work but I was building stairs using the dommies but I think it would be cool if you could climb them. I feel like there were places that you could get stuck in, like how I couldn't figure out how to get on the counter, and if it's just to build a dommy stair it would take too long. I also would like to have the newly spawned ones face the same direction and not have the camera rotate to somewhere I;m not interested in.

shakirovich 2024-10-09 16:05

Hey @ellaris you can climb the Dommies, and way you get on counter is by pushing the lamp and then climbing it, thank you for review.

davidcode 2024-10-09 19:07

The mechanic is distinctive and adds a clever layer of strategy to the gameplay. I really enjoy how you can construct formations by piling characters on one another, bringing a creative puzzle-solving aspect to the platformer. The story is playful, which enhances the overall appeal of the game. It's remarkable how much personality and wit you've infused into the characters and plot, making the experience stand out. Great work on creating something both engaging and original!

shakirovich 2024-10-09 19:16

@davidcode Thank you for feedback, appreciate it.

*Forgive me for what I have done.*

I'm **very** impressed by what you were able to accomplish in 48 hours. This game is great. I played for over an hour before realizing that Shift allows you to move faster, and I still had a great time!

The amount of art on top of all of the systems is incredible! Did you get any sleep? Haha!

Am I correct that there is no end screen? Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing an ending somewhere!

Easily one of my favorites of this jam. Amazing work, it turned out so well.

aweskybear 2024-10-10 15:31

Very very addictive ones you get the hang of it : ))) I'd say incredible visuals and the dommy-building mechanics are awesome! Unfortunately my comp heats up extremely quickly, not sure why, so playing for too long was impossible ; ( . I've noticed this with the Unreal engine games specifically.

Amazing game! Great job : )

shakirovich 2024-10-10 16:38

@keithswanger Thank you for review, there was supposed to be an endscreen, but I never got time to test it, Ill have to look int it, you are probably the first person to finish it thank you alot, here is special endscreen just for you. And yes I didnt any get any sleep :))) Screenshot 2024-10-10 113630.png

zhang 2024-10-10 18:26

Fun game, I like the feeling of breaking things

absolute-garbage 2024-10-10 18:28

Amazing work! the unique physics and mechanics are super fun, and the visual look great

shakedimus 2024-10-10 18:55

I thought the game had a very funny look and I enjoyed playing around. I did think it was quite difficult to get the hang of building these bridges though. Music and graphics gave it a nice atmosphere also. OVerall very cool idea but I found it a bit fidgetty to build stuff.

mechazawa 2024-10-10 21:26

Could you make a Linux build? When running it in wine I just get a bunch of graphical glitches which makes it unplayable

shakirovich 2024-10-10 21:57

@mechazawa I have no experience with it, but Ill look into it.

shakirovich 2024-10-11 21:28

@mechazawa I have good news for you, I made built for linux, its now available on itch page.

adrien-tremblay 2024-10-13 18:52

Nice game! I like the idea as playing as something super small in a world where verythin looks big!

william-corrin 2024-10-14 03:22

This is really fun! You got a lot done for the short time we had - I love the concept of playing as little dust mites, and being able to spawn more and attach them is a great idea as well!

The jump feels a bit unresponsive and kind of slow, and i wish the rolling animation on the dust mite was a bit more responsive as well. But I'm just being picky :) this is a great entry, you should be very proud of yourself!

transkuja 2024-10-23 11:26

The level is filled with content ! Sometimes it was a big tedious to stack lots of creatures to reach some heights, but the mechanic is fun  Great job !

pimping 2024-10-23 21:47

Great game, nice matching with theme, keep going

whatiswhat 2024-10-24 02:48

Love the little guys! It reminded me heavily of I am Bread from like 10 years ago, it is insane you put this together in 2 days! My favorite game I've seen
