Web build was black screening on Firefox. Should be fine now.

Probably skill issue on my side but I couldn't get past the first stage lol. Anyways I can really see the potential and depth this has, crazy accomplishment!

This is one of those compo games that shocked me with how much was implemented! Really impressive range of mechanics/features. And the art style is very charming! Great entry

I love this style and look! The sounds are also really cool, feedback is great for that. I keep spending too much on army and no machines lol. thoug how do i get that one resource the houses hold after i destroy them?

@tenthousandfireants Thanks for playing! The structures give the resources at destruction time, no need to collect anything separately.

This has a very unique retro aesthetic with the low resolution and colour choices, neat! The dithered fog effect was very nice and I did like how the tiny soldier sprites depicted their loadout and number. The music kicking in on the second screen was a nice effect.

I have to say I really liked how well put together the interface was with tooltips and a clear style to it. Unit designers are always neat.

Units were perhaps a bit too weak to start with and I found myself selling rams and then rebuying them right next to enemy towers because they were so slow. It looks like a challenging game what with early losses sticking around.

That's not to say I didn't think this was a great entry, it really feels fully featured and I could see myself coming back to it. Making an RTS is an impressive feat for any game jam let alone the compo!

Impressive interface! Always impresses me when one manages to put together a menu system for a 48h compo. It's a lot of work! Not really my type of game but I enjoyed it none the less and it's a well made game. 👍

This is a cool game and some nice warm up before DOW4. 😄

As an RTS player, I really liked the concept, but I think the game should start with a tiny bit more handholding. Just showing the basics via gameplay, like "don't use soldiers against structures, only use machines."

It seems obvious when written or said, but the game plays very slowly. I wasted a few units in level 1 and it takes a wood ram several minutes to cross a level and you're just left waiting, so I didn't want to go back and start the game from scratch.

A tiny bit more handholding, so that the player doesn't make obvious mistakes that forces them to go back to level 1, and perhaps adding a "speed up time" mechanic so that you don't have to "wait for the game to happen" for too long, like having "Pause", "1x", "2x", "4x" buttons to control speed settings that some games have.

Still, a really neat and interesting game with potential!

Such an eerie aesthetic!! Those SFX are like coming from anotehr universe..

Took me a few min to grasp how to "navigate" but .. this is a pretty good RTS!

Adding it to a list to play further for later! Interested in what happens next... GJ
