It seems like there is no way to play the game..
Could not find anything on their socials either for playing the game.
@pe4q07 @slyz @nojoule, it's there now. Game breaking bug was found and I needed to fix it, hopefully game doesn't crash anymore.
interesting concept for sure, i like the straightforwardness!
Cool game art is very satisfying. The punches didn't feel very impactful, it might be nice for them to be faster and do a little screenshake. Overall had a good time playing
A fun game, I enjoyed playing it. I liked the style, and the battles look interesting.
I like the battle phase, but the training seems like lack of visual feedback.
i like the character style
The idea is great, but some battles feel a bit too long (because you can predict the outcome). The characters look very cool but I think there was a bug because the music stoped at some point.
@batthecat Thanks for the extra detailed insight....................
I really enjoyed this fighting system :D1744314063-wayshot.png
The idea of building up different types of muscle on each arm is really clever. I also liked the sort of "rock paper scissors" of fighting once you had multiple types of damage available.
One idea to improve this game would be to either condense the training part to allow the players to choose all 7 days worth of exercises or to add more choice / variation between the training days. Having to go back and forth between the bed and the workout equipment (while fictionally makes sense) isn't super fun. The choice of which workout to do is fun, so give me more time picking which works out to do! Alternatively, if you want to teach the player that rest is important for strength training, maybe adding 2 legs to the game, and having a chance to damage an overworked muscle could be interesting as well.
@tobius thank you so much for actually giving feedback, I feel like everyone just rushes through peoples games and doesn't critique it enough. I agree 100%, the working out part just doesn't play well, I only realized this when it was too late lol. I'll try and repay the favor of actually giving feedback, thanks again.
This was great! I loved the elemental concept where you could train each arm separately and enemies also had different strengths and weaknesses. Nice work! Screenshot 2025-04-10 210421.png
Cool game! Fighting is fun — I keep switching hands in a panic, trying to figure out which one's better for the hit. I did miss a Day 0 fight though — would’ve helped to understand what I’m training for during the first 6 days.
Fun concept and stylish art (love the muscle man's face), and the mouse control fight is intuitive, nice :)
Cool game, I really like it! It is so complex and well made at the same time that I have fun while playing it. Cool rpg concept. Also it is quite hard to understand what effect effective against what. So, maybe, it would be useful to add some tip to the game page or inside game) It could be cool game if you continue to develop this concept after jam! Good luck
Hooray, great game. It was a bit non-touched up but you cant really expect such games with the glaring time limit. It was still very fun and strategic and it made me actively have to use my brain unlike many other jam entries ive played.
Actually really great, The style and day system are both really cool. But for some it might not be obvious that Fire > Grass; Water > Fire; etc. I did manage to beat it though.
[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2430455310?t=02h52m26s)
Got big Monster Rancher vibes from this game, which is crazy ambitious. Nice job on this one!
interesting concept. I ended up doing 10 water 5 grass on left and 10 fire 5 grass on right and that was enough to win the championship. Love the art and audio!
Congrats on your game! I felt stronger than ever, training my muscles with a wet shoe and a spiky flower :D This was surprisingly fun, even though I wasn't sure if defending with left and or right made any difference. But maybe that was because I trained both arms equally. Fun entry :)
A simple but interesting submission. I would be interested in knowing how the different elements effect attacking/defending against which elements as sometimes I thought one arm would have been stronger against my opponent but I was not always correct with my predictions too often. For example, if I have both water and fire in one arm and the opponent has a purely grass arm do my arms elemental effects basically negate each other or does weakness/resistance of element affect the result more than the other one?
Would have liked for the battle to either sometimes start with having to defend or there to be a time limit for attacking before the opponent would come at you since now I could first calmly analyze which arm I think would be stronger at attacking/defending against which arm before choosing to do anything (despite my predictions being right maybe 3/4 times :D). A nice submission regardless!
@miroreflect thanks for playing. I tried to make it so if you attack with both a strength and weakness it'd even out and if you attacked with the same element it'd compare them and see if you had higher attack, then it adds it altogether. It could be a train wreck and not work properly lol, it seems to work but I was mostly concerned with people just being able to beat the game.
And yeah, I would've liked to add different starts for attack/defend based on who is faster and also make the enemy change their defense/attack RIGHT BEFORE attacking so you have to try and change quickly too. I am happy with some of the stuff in the game, but like always time was the enemy.
An interesting take on the Fire, Water, Grass attack triangle. Funny art style and had me retrying the battle until I was champion. Good job!
I like the cartoony art style and I think the elemental training is super neat. I think this would make for an interesting strategy game. I wish we could see the opponent like wind up the arm they're about to throw that way we can choose which arm to block with strategically.
