I think the stork that delivered me dropped me along the way. twice
Nice art and screen effects
Really like the idea of a management game and think this is a really solid way to do it. I'll be honest, I kept losing and I'm not quite sure why. The screen effect was a little strong but if turned down a touch would look really good.
Nice game, it was interesting to manage which stork to send where, knowing that they would be unavailable for other deliveries for a while. At times I did end up waiting quite a while for more deliveries to become available, and sometimes the delivery instructions just said "baby view 6" or "baby view 8"
Overall, a good and unique game, well done!
@jimmymcginger Thank you for your feedback! And I agree now, the screen effect is a bit too much. I think after adjusting the values for a while, we took them a bit too far..
Oo! A strategic, tactical game. I like! This reminds me of the fun mini games in World of Warcraft, the weekly/daily ones where you send off parties you assemble to tackle different quests etc..!
So far every time i get past 50/60 points i run out of time, but i am always waiting for new quests. Cool idea. Well executed but i think i need more to do in between waiting for deliveries to pop up, or have more deliveries. Art and sound were nice. Controls were easy. It was fun while their were deliveries.
I didn't mind the screen effect personally, but I also am bad enough at this game that I can't get past stage 2 of the quests! I must not be understanding the stats of the Storks well. Though the idea of managing the levels of your team is good and different from what I've seen from this jam!
Nice idea for a game! It was satisfying when I had the perfect stork for a job (no, I don't want to send a stork who's too good in case I need them later!)
This was a very interesting game to play! I quite liked the effects and the music felt very fitting for the strategic planning! Shoutout to this one stork who carried me though.
I was thinking of making a stork delivery game too. It had some fun humor and made me laugh, although I couldn't get very far without a stork crashing.
Fun little game, but it's possible to be stuck with multiple missions and no storks that can do them. Also I had a few missions show no distance information, just "baby info 8" or something. The screen effect is a bit too much for me. With a bit of polish and these issues removed you guys got a very impressive first game :)
Cool game. The theme / mood was nice and consistent musically and visually. I felt like I was a 1980s air-traffic controller. I played it through quite a few times and it was a nice chill, relaxing game even though the consequence of a mistep is literally corporate infanticide...
My current high score is 91 points thanks to an absolute boeing 747 of a bird named Elon Stork #9525 who was able to carry TRIPLETS 114 freakin storkmiles. good job guys :)
The noise grain and lofi pops were a bit jarring and it was a lot of information to parse with the fonts and hierarchy making that a challenge. I needed a bit more guidance of what to do. I'm still not sure how to use the information provided to perform the tasks necessary - like how stamina relates to distance etc. That being said i actually enjoy the personality of this and the style y'all were going for. It feels like being in stork command central unplugging stork shaped wires and rerouting them to other baby ports! Nice work y'all
the ctr look was really cool, i liked the game and was simple enough to don't have trouble pick it up but it was fun and entertaining. also is a nice teist on the theme
It's funny, I made a made a stork delivery game too, but yours is totally different than mine.
Anyway, this is a nice game of matching the right stork to the right path. The screen effects and noisy sound provides a nice 80s wibe.
I also liked the throwback screen effects! I ..couldn't quite tell what the orange blobs on screen were? I liked the stork names, and I liked the details provided for each delivery. It felt like sort of a crapshoot as to whether or not my stork was gonna be strong enough for a given task, and once I thought I'd done a good job but then about 4 seconds after I'd done anything I got a game over for... reasons? Nice chill music, SFX are a bit strange but work with the aesthetic. Nice work.
@kristinamay the orange blobs are supposed to be location pins and are sort of the destination where the storks have to drop off the babies. And I think the error you got was because of the time, which I think we set a bit too short. But thanks for your feedback :)
Neat idea. I wish I could see the storks flying, and I was unclear on why sometimes I had no storks that could lift/reach some destinations, but I had fun anyways. Nice job!
Very interesting concept, I found the mechanics in the game very interesting, each delivery has details that must be attended to to send a stork, the music is very pleasant, all these details contributed a lot to the atmosphere of the game, the graphic effects are also very interesting and they make me feel nostalgic, although maybe it can decrease a little. The times I played I got game over for no apparent reason after a while, I didn't understand why. Overall, I really liked it.
Good job!
