The game looks and sounds incredible. everything is really nicely put together. Well done. The puzzles are on the easy side which is not bad since you keep progressing. And the regular power ups are always nice rewards.
Some bamboos where a bit difficult to pick up but I think that's the only issue I had.
Lovely game. Really easy to understand and you can get straight to playing. The music is lovely and the art with the effects and everything is also great!
I do have a few nitpicky things though  1. The controls feel a bit off for me as a platformer. Felt a bit hard to control precisely. Also, X is a weird button since it is quite hard to access when using WASD to move. 2. A background image with some parallax could have really tied together everything, because right now it was lacking that little something.
Other than that, great game!

@nicmagnier glad your liked it, thanks for playing! Yeah, bamboo packs were at some point hard to fully handle...

@bangthewall thanks for these feedback!
Yeah, I have picked **X** as it seems to be a quite popular action input (combined with arrow keys I suppose), but mouse click is still working as an action in the game, which might work better with letter keys

Nice, I like the music and the art. Also the controls feel snappy, which is good. The only thing I don't really see is the connection to the theme, but it's still a great game!

@jorbits thanks for your feedback. Yeah, it's not obvious, I tried to justify it with the narrative part of the game

Great entry! Really beautiful art. I like how the mechanics were slowly introduced in a super natural way.

That was a really nice game with easy puzzles, mechanics and not too long gameplay. I made it to the end :)
X felt a bit weird first but after awhile combo between WASD and q worked fine. well done.
Oh.. now afterwards when giving the ratings I'm not sure how it fits to the theme...
Lovely little game! Not too difficult. The world, narrative and art really ties together into a beautiful game.
The movement felt precise and snappy, I loved it. The controls and movement in platformers is overlooked so much during jams. But you got it right.

Thanks @haztro @smiley @linus-lindberg @tengusheath for playing! Glad that you liked it
Wow, amazing entry. Graphics and audio are super polished. Movements are also top notch (especially for a compo game!). If I may, it lacks a bit of a "coyote time". Level design is smart and the gameplay mechanics are original. Good job!

Really solid game, nice to move around and the pixel art is superb!
Nice game ! Love the little pacing and the whole idea ! It's a little short, but love it (but I cheat a lot on cliff, by jumping and forcing my way)
The visual is the best part too
Excellent entry. Graphics and sounds are nice, and the mecanics are original and interesting.
Although the game felt like 90% tutorial, 10% actualy playing.

The visuals and the music is really good. The gameplay is simple and pretty fun. The start was a bit slow, but else a fine little game.

Very polished game, great visuals! One button for all the actions keeps things nice and simple :)
Really great game! The art was super cute and I loved how you introduced all the mechanics :3 Awesome entry!
So good, loved basically everything. I like that the player can move really fast, and I was surprised by the amount of content!
Wonderful game, atmosphere was charming, music and graphics were nice!
Solving the first bamboo puzzle was satisfying when I realized I could water the shoots in the grass. After the first bridge section, as I was saying in my head "I wish I could hold more water", the water bucket upgrade was perfect timing.
Really good stuff!
I feel like I just played an Atari game from my childhood featuring Uncle Iroh from Last Airbender. This was really interesting and unique! Kinda zen and quirky at the same time. Mechanics are introduced well and you don't feel like you're just thrown into the game. Art style is really nice and with the music make a really great atmosphere. I enjoyed myself! Great job!
So many levels, super polished game, I loved the graphics and the soundtrack. The puzzles and abilities are simple but interesting, and the controls are pretty good.
I think I get what you mean that the theme is in the narrative, but I believe it went the opposite direction? The spirits are having their passage delayed and you have to help then part by restoring the trees, so you're actually "undelaying" the inevitable
Really solid entry, well done!
awesome man :D incredible you got so much done in 48h only like all these variations and levels and mechanics genuinely pretty incredible - respect, man :D
the music works really well, I really enjoyed that it's very well-polished and works really well sometimes the input detection is very slightly lackluster but nothing too bad i was thinking it's a bit of a shame your ldjam.com page is so... sad ^^# and unassuming :P also i was thinking a tutorial that fits in the game - rather than on the itch.io page - for the controls, for example, would have been nice :) ah - and I don't get how the game relates to the theme ^^# then again I'm not familiar with the concept mentioned in the name at all :)
beyond that the story is nice, it's varied, it works well you've done it again, dude :D pleasure to playtest as always - looking forward to playing your next one, dude :D take care :)
