Oooh, this is a unique take on the theme! And super ambitious, too!

I only wish I knew how to play this game. I read the tutorial twice, but it only told me what the buttons do, not what they mean. Is it good to have thoughts? Is it good for something to pass and bad for it to fail? If you increase the value of a patent law, does that mean the law generates more money or that the law is stricter? Why would it matter whether the law is stricter? (Maybe it's good for the inventors in that country, but is that something the game is really tracking?) How much money do we have to buy votes anyway? And what good is it to buy votes when you don't know whether you want something to pass? These were all questions that went through my head and without the answers, I had no idea whether whether all the different statistics on the screen meant things were getting more stable, less stable, or about the same.

So I think the number one priority would be to design a tutorial that explains what everything means. Ideally, the complexity would start simple (maybe only looking at one or two types of projects for one or two countries (just the Security Council?) and then introduce mechanics gradually until you have the behemoth that a U.N. simulator should be. Or, until you run out of time to implement new mechanics...

Good luck!

Sorry for that, Jam endend before I could make a proper tutorial :P. The projects being approved or not can be good or bad, depending on what you think will stop Unstability. And basically, the more numbers tend to 50, the better (not for war, tho. War is better at 0). That said, it's good or bad to approve a project if it will make numbers go back to 50.

Thanks for playing the game, rally means a lot for me! :)

I loved the idea, incredibly original!! it was a bit too complicated for me though, I would suggest to keeping the same issues but doing less countries, or starting from less to get the hang of it and then add to it more. It would also be a good idea to write how you win or lose, just as you explained above (the number going to 50). But super original idea!

I was deciding who to give a loan too and got this Error after hearing a bell ring: Push :: Execution Error - Variable Index [-1] out of range [28] - -5.lista_delegados(100056,-1) at gml_Object_obj_delegado_Step_0 ############################################################################################ gml_Object_obj_delegado_Step_0 (line -1)

But overall it seems really cool! I just wish there was more feedback, I couldn't tell if a vote passed, I didn't know what the increase/decrease was effecting, ect. So just more tutorial and it seems like a really good sim game!

Very impressive how much you completed in such a short time! Very complicated too, well done!

@carraka @yotamco @ericbomb @jolu-studios Thak you all for playing, and sorry for the problems and bugs. I really got way too ambitious for the short time and my low skills. But I promisse to improve and make a great game next jam!!

Was very surprised by this one! I'll say I was also a bit confused on how to play but the visual presentation and idea is super interesting. Definitely gave me an immediate sense of how unstable and complex that job would be in real life haha.

I thought this was a super fun idea! I really like the approach to the theme that you took, it was really clever! I think in practice there was a just a bit too much going on with not enough feedback to have things make sense. The things that I needed to be balancing were not clear and it was tough to get a sense of the current status of different elements, how they are changing, what the cause is, etc. But I can imagine how cool of a system there is driving this whole game, so I would love to see more in the future!

Really ambitious game and I like the idea a lot, but it was too complicated, and I was attempting to play it on stream, so, I had to end the game because I couldn't understand much. I have to play it again to be able to rate, because I really like it, but I don't know how to rate it because I was just confused.

The days felt like they were zooming by, I got anxious and just sped up time until I lost haha. It was really cool though, to hear that swelling sound as I spun, until finally the planet had reached it's end. Was a fun experience, and very ambitious. Well done!

Love the idea and type of game. Always crashes after one day is over. Might be that I´m on Win11 though
