Gummi Bridges by Joel Davis 2021-10-07T06:21:42Z

Holy ambitious batman!

I managed to get some bridges down, but navigating was a bit too hard! Overall, a crazy good amount of work.

Unstable(d) by minibobbo 2021-10-06T03:30:04Z

Very cute entry! I had the same problem with the other user how I couldn't find out how to kick, so I always got caught as soon as the farmer showed up without fail. So will probably give it another try once I know how to get past the first wave of farmers!

Violently Unstable Rabbits by saucygames 2021-10-05T07:00:21Z

Solid entry! Graphics and SFX are so well done for such a short time. I will say I don't feel like letting you keep upgrades worked out too well though. I got max weapon really quick (didn't spend points on anything else until I had it max) and so I had max weapon for most of the game, and there just wasn't a whole ton to do. More counterplay from the enemy would have been good so I didn't feel like I was watching a movie near the end and actually had to respond.

Also after beating level 10 instead of getting a win screen I went to level 11... which was a blank field and it froze the game! Wonderful entry regardless though!

Unstable Heroes by Apples_mmmmmmmm 2021-10-07T06:18:44Z

Only gripe was what stable/unstable actions would work was a little too obvious! I almost wish they didn't have names that made it obvious! Obviously the cleric would get healing circle and the warrior would get defensive stance. But if there was a bit of mystery/gambling involved it might have been even cooler.

Sky Burns Red by nardandas 2021-10-05T04:12:54Z

Overall a great game! I wish I had some feedback, but really all it needs is more time! The music was great, them chanting your name at the end was great, the panic I felt as it was near collapse was real, and you conveyed a fun concept in a very simple manner. Wonderful work!

Block fight by antoined73 2021-10-06T20:05:16Z

Wonderful entry! Probably the most fun I've had, played 5-6 games and enjoyed both phases each time.

Needs balance and some more features, but it's a genuinely enjoyable game, if it ever got online multiplayer I'd legit spend money to play this with some friends if there were lots of silly modes. I can see myself on VC just joking with some friends as we build pretty bases and destroy them.

My one feedback is in the current game it feels like the biggest thing is making sure to get a good hit on the exposed treasure. A hit on the pillar the treasure is standing on that just knocks it behind the base is a disaster, but if you can clip it to go to the right/left you basically win in 2-3 shots. So maybe a way to destroy the wooden blocks would be nice so it feels less like it's all about that first hit!

Herman's Fallacy by LarrySeinfeld 2021-10-06T03:35:43Z

My only gripe is there were some parts that combined with the hilariously jank physics were just too hard. But other than that it was really fun a great entry. A great comedy entry.

Just 3 Blocks ! by Yohsk13 2021-10-08T05:39:34Z

This is really well made! Feels very stable, has a nice twist on a classic game, and has simple and cute graphics. Really well done!

The Three Goblin Problem by pfs 2021-10-06T09:45:40Z

End goblin discrimination!

My brain kept telling me to go near walls/pilars to grab onto... but alas, goblins are well known for their ability to go through walls when stacked on top of one another. A down side here I'm afraid.

Seriously though, the vibe and silliness were done very well.

Urban Llama Farmer by zerocomms 2021-10-04T22:35:24Z

Honestly? I just want more. I want to be able to rotate my lammas before placing them, I want to get weird Llammas that are spread out weird, I want legless Llammas, I want llamas with too many legs, I want a sheep to show up. I want a funny voice making puns. This game is already so radicicols I really just want more of that.

But the fact that I want more I think is a good thing. A very funny and cute base game that I could 100% see myself playing a lot if it got a lot of new features.

Un-Stable by Lychee 2021-10-06T03:23:50Z

Hah, this was actually rather good. The boss had multiple phases, the projectiles/obstacles were all different and interesting, the boss health felt like the perfect amount to where I didn't get bored but had enough time to enjoy the silliness, and the art was straight up stupid in a good way. I feel like you may as well just have all bullets always shoot to the right thought since you never would want to shoot to the left, so may as well lock it over there. But honestly did give me a good old school boss fight vibe, which I think was what you for sure were going for.

Milburt by LiquidFunk 2021-10-06T19:50:54Z

Oh other people already mentioned the font. I can't quite describe my problem with it, just that like it felt like I had to super focus to read. But otherwise a very cute and stylistic game!

The Unstable gun by Sheol 2021-10-06T05:15:30Z

A nice little entry! It wasn't ground breaking, but everything worked well, the light effect was cool, the upgrades felt nice, and overall it was enjoyable. The high quality tiles clashed a little bit with the dev art, but still was a nice entry.

U.N.stable by abk507 2021-10-06T20:13:58Z

I was deciding who to give a loan too and got this Error after hearing a bell ring: Push :: Execution Error - Variable Index [-1] out of range [28] - -5.lista_delegados(100056,-1) at gml_Object_obj_delegado_Step_0 ############################################################################################ gml_Object_obj_delegado_Step_0 (line -1)

But overall it seems really cool! I just wish there was more feedback, I couldn't tell if a vote passed, I didn't know what the increase/decrease was effecting, ect. So just more tutorial and it seems like a really good sim game!

Breaker of stability by BorisFromMurmansk 2021-10-07T04:58:52Z

A nice entry! Just two things!

Peasants having a blue bar, and then enemies having a red bar would help visibility a ton.

Also if the monster makes it to the castle the game doesn't end, it just lags out terribly!

But still, a good entry all around.

Alchemy Sandbox by Constantine Pallas 2021-10-06T03:19:24Z

For me I really struggled with the fact that every time I unlocked a new element, the screen would wipe. So I felt like I couldn't mess around with anything until I had them all unlocked, but then it was hard to remember what everything did. But I also sometimes had a problem where after a minute I'd no longer be able to add more elements.

But yeah biggest suggestion is to not auto delete when a new element is found! Would really help on the discovery so we could figure out the traits of new elements as we go instead of just messing around and all of a sudden our screen is empty.

Unstable Valley by ericbomb 2021-10-05T03:51:17Z

Hi everyone! A black screen is correct, it is an audio game! The read me is your friend if you're getting frustrated. Also SHIFT will tell you your resources (I thought I mentioned it somewhere, but jam things!)

Unstable Valley by ericbomb 2021-10-05T05:53:54Z

@electricicebird Ahh I tried to make the readme as helpful as I could! But making audio games in a short time is hard I'm afraid, wish I had more time to iron out sound queues that would help people more!

Unstable Valley by ericbomb 2021-10-06T01:26:04Z

@fnkee Oh good catch on the readme error! yes, it's iron, the mercenaries cost gold!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was actually really fun to make and I found it even fun to test. Part of me is thinking if enough people like it here on Ludum this might be a worth while game to spend a few months on to see if I can make it multiplayer and more complex! If I had more time I wanted there to be like random events that just changed how things worked a bit.

Yeah perhaps I should have explained that the enemy is fighting the EXACT same way as you. I know a lot of simple RTS's have an AI that cheats or plays different than the player, but sounds like you caught on that it's fighting like you! If you deny it iron, and gold, all you'll see from it is archers until it gets the others.

But thank you so much for your feedback and kind words!

Unstable Valley by ericbomb 2021-10-06T03:41:32Z

@fre oh thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! The overly loud background music and tutorial being broken were bugs that I fixed in case you wanted to give it another shot! So that you don't have to listen through tutorial since you already know how to play, shift will give you current resources, but yeah no way to check on like how many forces you have out in the field! Something I did worry about, but couldn't think of an elegant solution in time. But given more time I wanted to have there be audio cues of chopping wood for the center area, then mining for the two other areas if you have living villagers there, and then some easy way to get an idea of total units on them. A quick "status report" saying "Allied army at gold, few allies at forest, large enemy army at iron" might have been enough thinking about it now. So wonderful feedback! Hope you had fun!

Unstable Valley by ericbomb 2021-10-06T06:35:43Z

@lychee Oh my goodness I never explained how combat works!

Yes, so you and the enemy are fighting over the same res. So if you check in on gold, and it tells you that there is an enemy there, it means they control it and are using it. To take it back you'll need to stream units too it until you control it. Your villagers will work in a contested site, but they do a lot less damage than any of the military units in combat.

I never did explain in the readme that the AI follows the same rules as the players! I'll have to update just for the readme changes!

Unstable Valley by ericbomb 2021-10-09T23:28:45Z

@bgdc @yohsk13 @apples-mmmmmmmm @feor @nardandas @sheol

Thank you all for playing! Sounds like the general consensus is:

1. Game is too fast compared to how quickly the voice will give details. 2. You don't get enough information on certain things, like how much you have at each location, ect. (shift will give you your resource count, but nothing on army) 3. AI is too fast to react to things, so maybe they could have been a little less speedy to account for the fact that humans need to listen to things to get the information they need before making a choice.

So maybe if I remake it I'll go more of the CK2 route where there are days and you queue up things that trigger at the end of the day. I didn't want to make it turn based since I wanted there to be a bit of panic, but making it so only so many actions could be taken by the AI in a 10 second period probably would help a lot!

Thanks again for wonderful feedback and words everyone!

The Mental Wheel by T1h4n 2021-10-06T20:24:49Z

Nice! I will admit I played most of the game with a naked car because of how often I got knocked out, also would have really liked a "quick restart" button or some sort, so if I got turned around I could press a button to restart my car facing forward.

More obstacles/turns and making the controls less floaty I think would help a lot. But I understand the controls were probably made floaty to make the game difficult in a short period of time. But still, cool game!

Turrim by Proxy-Games 2021-10-06T05:19:10Z

Gave me a 3d tricky towers vibe, which isn't bad at all. The ability to move by grid/smooth was a great little feature, and the physics felt consistent. A great base game!

Burning Down by arthurgps2 2021-10-06T22:54:09Z

A nice little entry, but I ran into a bug where after putting out a fire, going into a room and rescuing a person, I couldn't leave the room again. So I ended up having to restart. So just something to look into!

Proximity War by Ravenmages 2021-10-07T06:10:09Z

The locked window then having the mouse pan was a bit iffy! And rts's are hard because of how off they feel without the ability of hotkeys, like the ability to jump back to your base.

But still, crazy how much you got done!

Wobbly Cannonry by LucDeligne 2021-10-07T05:07:36Z

Not sure what to add with all the amazing comments already! Audio would have been cool, but just jam things! More guns would have been cool, more enemies would have been cool, upgrades, power ups, ect. Basically I liked the game, so this entire comment is saying I want more of it.

spirit supper by commentaccord 2021-10-04T22:29:52Z

A nice little entry! I have a couple thoughts on why I voted on each!

Fun- It was cute so I gave it a middle fun score, it was cool to run around chasing things for a few minutes. But I wasn't sure what I'm supposed to do really, but eventually I figured it out.

Innovation - Just matching isn't the most innovative, but honestly I like how things are set up and I feel like for sure there is potential if you make things more complex then just match x=x.

Graphics - Very cute and stylistic! Wonderful job on this.

Audio: Again, just great for the style.

Mood: Not bad at all! I loved the little ghosts and running around chasing.

Overall a solid entry, good job!

Broken Planet by quasar098 2021-10-06T22:52:15Z

It's actually a simple but fairly well done entry! It's a jam, so never be too harsh on yourself!

The movement felt about right and just needs a little tweaking, and the falling platforms were nice. Really just wanted the goal to either be to an endless climber or an endless runner! Game would work great as either I feel like.

Time Rift Racers by D3kryption 2021-10-06T07:56:43Z

Well made little racing game for how quickly it had to be made. Controlled rather well, but I was bummed I didn't get a portal until right before the race ended!

Meltdown!! by manzdeh 2021-10-06T20:18:14Z

Well done game! The audio could have used more, but it's a unique puzzle with graphics that make it obvious what's going on. Also I got squished constantly. Overall seems really well done and thought out for such a short period of time!

Swing Gobang by dcy11011 2021-10-05T04:06:49Z

Really fun concept! Made me wish my GF hadn't just left for work so we could play. Music fit well, but I did want some sort of SFX for banging around.

My only wish was there was an AI, honestly even one that placed a block at the top randomly would have been fun. Or even a challenge mode where it placed two randomly and you had to get there.

Either way, it's a good concept and I hope it gets a bit more love.

Swing Gobang by dcy11011 2021-10-05T08:20:58Z

Well for 8 hours this is probably one of the more solid last minute entries!
