I finally did it

joaquim-2009 2020-04-20 10:08

I do not no what i can do

r3l0ad1 2020-04-20 10:22

Good game, its a nice idea but can easily get a bit boring after a couple of minutes, the gap between each thing it wants is to long and maybe you could have a deadline for what it needs, so the game gets harder the longer you play it for, overall, ok game, but could do with some level of difficulty

retti01 2020-04-20 10:26

Nice idea. Needs littlebit more content. I like it over all.

shubh 2020-04-20 11:30

Thank you all of you for your feedback, I am new to Ludam Dare thus I paniced and dint think much about difficulty. Sorry.

millhow 2020-04-20 12:35

Cool idea ! You fit perfectly with the theme! Indeed it would have been good to integrate an end and to visualize the life of the plant. But that doesn't change the fact that the music is nice and that it's a game that deserves to be continued :) Good job :) Hope you had fun to create your game !

shubh 2020-04-20 19:34

Thank u for ur feedback, i may continue it

shubh 2020-04-20 19:42

Joquim you can read the story of the game which comes after the menu. You should Drag and Drop

llamallove 2020-04-22 06:55

It fit very well with the theme. the controls and goal are my main dislikes about the game, but overall good job!

shubh 2020-04-22 06:57

Thank u for the feedback and rating my game.

ilimanic 2020-04-22 07:47

Good idea, but the implementation is bad, I advise you to finalize the game, and draw new graphics.

shubh 2020-04-22 08:20

Thank you for ur feedback

sageware 2020-04-22 11:07

This is a good start to a game. The controls were a bit confusing at first but I eventually got the hang of it. Some of the UI was cut off. The music was nice and I liked the game's concept. I hope you continue working on it.

shubh 2020-04-22 17:39

Thanks fot playing my game and giving us feed back and we eill surrly continue this game.

d4rkweasel 2020-04-23 06:50

Congratulations for finishing your first Ludum Dare game! It's already a good start. I don't really know, if you can actually loose the game. I tried to wait for some time, but the game still continued :D But the core gameplay (except for losing, maybe) works, so nice work! Your next Ludum Dare game will get even better, if you continue practicing ;)

shubh 2020-04-23 08:18

Thank u for ut feedback

whomakeworse 2020-04-23 08:59

Good game, i like a lot the graphics, well done !!

convg 2020-04-23 09:23

Cool game. The graphics are simple but nice, The gameplay is good but may be better if you have to give stuff to the plant more often. Overall I liked this game. Good job.

shubh 2020-04-23 12:41

Thank you @convg @whomakeworse for your feedback and i will try to improve

jk5000 2020-04-23 13:02

I do not understand this game. I try to give plant all the things, and noting happens. It sometimes looks like the plant wants something, but if I give it what it wants or I give it something else, do not seems to do anything at all.

shubh 2020-04-23 13:05

@jk5000 I am sorry for that actually whrn thr jam was ending i found a big bug in the script. The bug was beyond my head even i tried in utube hence at thr end i deleted the script.

pilarius 2020-04-23 13:07

@shubh You completed your first game jam, that is awesome!

I think the game could profit from some player feedback and consequences on actions. At the moment I think there is no difference if I interact with the plan or not. One general tip for future jams: Try to include a HTML5 version of your game. A lot of players including me does not like to download games. Having a WebGL Build makes it possible to play the game in your browser. With unity it is relative easy to do so.

Its always exciting to see new developers, keep it up :)

shubh 2020-04-23 13:10

Thank you @pilarius for yout feedback and yes i will follow you tip but i actually trued it but i always get this error. Ic20 build failed.

pilarius 2020-04-23 13:16

@shubh Well that's unfortunate. Some times external packages like text mesh pro can throw errors or the used unity version when building. The Unity Forum is a good place to find solutions to such problems

shubh 2020-04-23 13:17

Thank you @pilarius

shubh 2020-04-23 13:18

I have textmesh pro. I must get rid of it. Fourums is a good idea @pilarius

zimennik 2020-04-23 13:57

Well. This is a game. Not the best, but it is clear that the developer tried. Music is present. Graphics too. On wide screens, part of the game is cropped.

Anyway, better than my first game =)

shubh 2020-04-23 13:59

@zimennik thank u for ur feedback

szkocka 2020-04-23 14:05

I have to say, could use some polish, but you didn`t gave up, finished the game and posted it. That`s what matters

shubh 2020-04-23 14:08

Thank you @szkocka

lungtakumi 2020-04-23 14:16

I tried, still don't know how to play. Maybe you can write some instruction.

pusheeneiro 2020-04-23 14:41

Nice game as the first entry and you did it alone. GG

shubh 2020-04-23 15:39

Thank you for your feed back and support @pusheeneiro

raphiell 2020-04-23 23:21

Congrats on finishing a game for your first ludum dare! As others have said, it's a good start, and I liked the art! Some more direction on what to do would be nice.

Well done!

shubh 2020-04-24 06:17

Thank you fir ur feedback and support @raphiell

natpat 2020-04-26 20:00

Good take on the theme, and a promising start. The music was chirpy and fit the game - would have been good if it was slightly longer! A score, and maybe a fail state if the player gets it wrong too long would be good first steps to improving.

shubh 2020-04-27 04:36

Thank you for your feed back @natpat

velucyraptor 2020-04-27 18:35

This was a little confusing. I couldn't tell whether what I was doing was having any impact but the music was quite fun. Spot on for theme!

team-on 2020-04-29 11:29

Simple gameplay and nice art
