I really like the exploration aspect of the game and that I can take my time exploring without a time limit. I like the mood of the game as well and it's thrill to encounter new enemies even though they'll probably kill me lol.

To give some contructive feedback, I wish the background of the game and the shark enemy's art was not blurry. But I guess there could be something wrong with the online player or that my screen is too high of a resolution for it. I think if I could swimming a bit faster or restart from somewhere close to where I died, it would also make replaying the level more fun.

All in all, gotta love deep water exploration!

@DDesignDude Thank you! Yeah, the background is actually just a hand drawing sketch that is pixelated. For the speed, that was our intention to require player to use items :smile:

Fun game, took some time to learn the controls. Also, I found when swimming to the left I was much faster than to the right and was able to evade the shark without items.

Hard to understand which things is obstacle and which things is background. This game could be a lot nicer with good graphics. But still neat experience.

The player is really well drawn with great animation! I just wish the background was sharp because the blur is a bit distracting! Other than that the soundscape makes for a relaxing exploration.

The music is nice and creates a good vibe and mood for the game. I enjoyed the sound effects that were present, and I think having more of them for things like picking up coins or taking damage would be a nice way to give some additional audible feedback to the player. The graphics look great - especially the player animations. Everything ties together well to create a really cohesive mood.

At times it was a little difficult to understand what I needed to do next, and I couldn't figure out how to get back to the store once I approached the ship. That said, I did really enjoy just exploring and checking out the vastness of the ocean.

Nice little game!

The movement feels good, the exploration is engaging and the upgrades with coins is a nice idea. I had trouble with the enemy fish never stopping to follow you if you don't have an item, it felt a bit too stressful.

As said by others, the background is blurry and the UI is not scaled well in the web version. - For the background, when importing an image in unity, you can choose compression setting. For pixel art, you want to change those settings, here is a tutorial for that : https://hackernoon.com/making-your-pixel-art-game-look-pixel-perfect-in-unity3d-3534963cad1d - for the UI, it's always a bother to set it up correctly, but continue to toy with the scaling and anchor settings and I am sure it will be perfect in your next game! When it's still hard to find the right tweaks, rememeber you can change the base resolution in unity settings and in the itch.io page!

Good Audio, however there was a lack of feedback when you are hit by an enemy and take damage. You have to run it in fullscreen btw, otherwise some elements will be cut from the viewport.

The speed boost from the boots is awesome, leaving those fish in the dust. I was unsure if there was a way to return to the boat, was dying the only option? Returning to the boat didn't do it for me.

I tried several times but did not understand how to get items, so once I was chased by fishes, it was impossible for me to go on :(

I like the atmosphere though ! Why are graphics not rated ?

@francesco the way it currently works is you get those coins while you exploring and buy items from the shop once you die, I'm sorry that your experience was not so good :( About the graphics, most of them are free assets we got from many places and not originally made by us so rating them is not relevant.
