Cute! I really like the design choice that you have to land to regain fuel, makes things more tense! Good job!

Love the gameboy style. Fun game, if a bit easy, maybe the water could speed up as you play?
Nice, love the risk reward decision for whether to push for that next platform. The answer is normally no in my case. Great game.
Oo, I like this one. Nice game loop to it. More variation would be really cool. Good stuff!
Very nice! The refueling mechanic is interesting because it forces you stop strategically.
Dear aderpychickenstudios, You´ve created a cute little Game. The concept is not inovative, but it works and it fits the theme. The Graphics are fine and have a unique look. I like them.
For my taste it's a bit to difficult. But maybe I am just a Bad Player.
But overall I enjoyed your Game.
with best regards Max
Loved every second. Beautiful, challenging and really fun to play.
@maxi1324 Thanks for the honest feedback I will be sure to include a more casual difficulty level in my next game, thanks for playing :)
@rex64 Thanks yeah I thought it was a neat way to add a bit of risk and reward to it!
@maxr00 Thanks! I really tried to create a nice tension curve with the game!
@lucas-guimaraes Awesome yeah I agree I wish I couldve added a bit more variety to it but I am glad you liked the core loop :)
@solidslr Thanks! That means a lot
@sam-horner Yeah I think I am going to add an extreme mode after the jam!
@taffaz Thanks yeah I really wanted to try and have a nice risk reward balance
Honestly pretty fun! I like the gameboy aesthetic!
@ordineu thanks!
Oh my lord, great game, seriously, looks ready to ship
the graphics are really cute and the game is super fun, I liked balancing my greed to get a little higher with the need to refuel! good level of difficulty for a jam game imo
@obscenebard thanks wow that's really nice!
@nethead thanks yeah I wanted to makebthe difficulty hard but not so much so that people couldn't play it im glad you found it good!
The game is simple yet entertaining. I actually spend some time to grind to the eyes (by memorizing every fuel station and landing point). If this game is procedural, I would be dead. Nice play
I'd have to agree that water gaining speed as you go could be nice, even on the easier modes so the beginning when you're getting the hang of it is a bit easier.
Game looks beautiful!
Might want to give the controls. The arrow keys are pretty clear but I had to figure out on my own that you can hit escape to change difficulties.
@tano yeah I really want to add procedural generation to it I was just so tired this weekend so I kept my scope small but in the future I want to add that
@craig-l ill make sure to change the page I forgot to mention the escape key thanks for letting me know. Yeah having a dynamic speed is a good idea I'll make sure to tinker with that. Thanks for playing!
Great game! Love the Game Boy visual style, and the music fits it super well too. The game loop is fun and the level was well done and showed off a lot of different movement rhythms you can do with this mechanic. It felt good to beat. The jerry cans added an interesting mechanic. I'd like to see more items. And some moving obstacles could really spice things ups. Awesome work! Please make a bigger, longer version of this game so I can play it!!!
This was really nice! The pixel art was cute, and the difficulty was on-point. The first few tries I did terribly, but I quickly learned, and in the end I was able to get to the end! (On normal made that it is. I have not yet dared to try hard mode >_<) You were talking about procedural generation in an earlier comment, but I acutally kind of like the way it is now. Learning the map and finding the optimal route was part of the fun for me :)
A few times I died at the very beginning because I was not yet ready, and the lava killed me straight away. Perhaps it would be an idea to start the lava climb once the player pressed a button? I think that would feel more fair.
At first it was not clear to me that landing also refilled my fuel (because realistically that did not make intuitive sense), but once I figured this out the game really became a lot more fun! For some reason I also did not notice the fuelbar immediately. Maybe because of the colorscheme? (Might just be me of course)
As a final point of feedback, I thought the sound effects were great, but the music became a bit repetitive after a while. Although I understand that music is really hard, so I am actually more impressed that you managed to make some (something I for sure failed at...)
Anyway, great submission and thanks a lot for making this! It was fun :D
@wuppos Thanks for the in depth review
I never thought of starting the lava after a button press but that is actually a really good idea I will make sure to do that!
I will try to think of adding a way to make the landing recharge a bit more obvious to new players as I agree it is not the most intuitive thing in the world. About the world generation I agree with you that I like learning the map so I think a way to make more replayability at the same time would be to choose to generate the map whenever you play not every time you restart so you could master the map you played!
Yeah the music was definitely a weak point of mine, it was my first time trying to make a track so I just got something semi passable out lol! Thankyou so much for the feedback gives me a lot to think about!
@the3rdhunter Thanks for the kind words yeah ill definitely add some more variety to it. Moving obstacles would be really cool ill add that! Thanks for playing!
Neat retro game, really liked my time on it, the mechanics are simple yet solid! I think as @wuppos, that a first player input would be better to start the lava, otherwise if you do nothing you die in a loop.
The music and sounds are nice, really good game!
This was great, surprisingly addictive. Loved the feeling of picking up a gas can and blasting on up. Great work :)
Really nice one, very addictive, simple and well crafted, great job.
@kosmosael thanks yeah that feature is definitely one im going to add its a really good idea. I'm glad you liked the sounds and music it was my first time doing that!
@haztro Thanks im glad it was a good experience!
@mlho7 Thanks im glad you liked it!
Nice simple twist on the endless jumper formula. The Gameboy-style graphics and sound give the game a nice feel. I like the fact the game just automatically respawns you, keeps things moving along nicely. :)
That was neat and well done. Something that messed with me a bit was that if you aren't flying you can't move left/right and your horizontal velocity stops. It makes things feel a bit stiff. But I liked the endless climb and the gameboy style.
Also I think I'm your 20th rating, congratulations!
The music was a bit repetitive, but I had fun with the gameplay, I got to the end (on normal). I liked picking up the gascans for an extra long boost. Well done!

I loved it! pretty challenging, it takes a few tries to know where you have to go to get the fuel :D
Really good job!
@extar Thanks yeah I took inspiration from super meat boy to have super quick turn around times
@raphiell Yeah it was my first time doing music I agree lol, Im glad you enjoyed the rest of it thanks for playing!
That was really fun! I almost gave up but persevered until I reached the end on normal! Love the retro game boy feel to it. Great work!
The control feel a little bit stiff. I like the colour palette.
Flying mechanic which was implemented in this game is very unusual and challenging. I didn't manage to get to the end, but it was challenging and addicting. The sound design goes nicely with the overall game. And, because of the choosen color pallete, game has some GameBoy feel to it.
Great little game, would make for a good mobile game as well I think!
The art is cute, and the gameplay is fun. Beating hard mode had my heart racing.
Moving sideways did feel a little sluggiest.
