Cool tower defense game, I enjoyed the idea of mixing elements for effects like freezing, though I wasn't able to find any other combinations. The wave attack is extremely powerful and as soon as I got it I was able to just stand on my crystal and use it as soon as it was available and one-shot everything.

Well done!

Great work! Though you should note that if I press "escape", at least for the web version, it freezes until reload. Other than that this was a lot to get done in 48 hours.

I very much enjoyed playing your game. The sound effects are nice and upgrading and summoning the attacks are very well done. The music is catchy as well. There is definitely potential in this type of game. I loved your implementation of the theme. Great entry and good luck!

I liked the way of combining elements to apply different effects ! Nice :)

I enjoyed this a lot, I made it all the way through wave 10 and forgot that I was supposed to be rating games. The games mechanics are simple and fun, it does get repetitive after awhile. I also found an easy way to "cheat" through waves. The tsunami move is OP, just staying on the crystal and spamming the tsunami on it will not allow the enemies to attack the crystal. Once the tsunami is done, you spam your 3 other moves and wait for the cooldown on your tsunami to spam it again. One way to disrupt this cheat would be to add long range enemies. Overall, this could be a great game by itself!

Its a nice game, I love the desing of the elements, but the audio is gonna hunt me in my dreams, I love it!

It's fun to play with the different elements to see what synergizes well, although in the end I just spammed everything on top of the crystal. The music is also preeeetty repetitive lol. But overall, nice work!

Nice little game but the tsunami spell is way to overpowered. Just with it and the wind one I could kill all enemies without even think. I think that this spell is accessible a bit too early and that this would be more a end game like spell.

Nice game, was fun to play ^^ The synergy between the effects is a cool mechanic.

combos are a nice idea, even is it was a little bit hard to know if it was effective or not

graphics are nice, especially the icons wich are really easy to identify

Nice entry 👍

This was a fun play! I definitely see the love put into to the spells and combos! Great job :)

(Side note hitting esc makes the game unresponsive with seemingly no way to get it working again. I lost a run trying to cancel a spell :p)

Cool game! Now seeing this I think this might be the perfect jam game. Easy concept if you ever played a flash games/ wc3 custom scenarios - straight into action.

I loved how the game started right away, no sort of tutorial for the store and stuff, when it's relevant it is introduced. I really think all jam games should aim to start like this. Let the player start by playing the game, and then point them in the right direction. How the player firing the first spell triggers the first wave is classy AF.

The visual circle on the ground for the spells are great! You could have left it at left click to magic and gotten away with it. I really like the WC3 aesthetic as well!

I think that the player should earn a lot more crystals per wave. After the second wave I could upgrade a spell - and that feels appropriate to me. One wave - one upgrade ish. Maybe something was bugged but I only got about a crystal per wave. I feel since it's a game jam, let the the player be a spell slinger and then overload them with enemies instead. I wanted to try all the spells but I didn't want to replay more than a couple of times.

I couldn't get past the 4th wave. I read in the comments some people manage to get to the 10th wave. Maybe they picked a better skill initially or I just can't figure out how to get crystals?

I think this is something you might be able to just fix on the itch page, but right now, the fullscreen button is cropped and also the web fullscreen thingy is on top of it. I first ran the game in that fullscreen, meaning I got big black borders around the game. And also it seems like pressing escape locks the game.

Keep in mind most my criticism is just some technical issue, and maybe the balancing of crystals. The core concept is really solid! Well done, you made a nice little game in 2 or 3 days!

Really fun! Love that each ability has an alternate to switch to, adds replayability and depth. It pretty quickly gets difficult to manage, I did a few runs and my best was wave 12. I also like the mechanic of healing the big crystal by picking up crystals from enemies, though I would prefer if they would get automatically collected at the end of a wave instead of having to go and get them all. Music was a bit repetitive as well. Overall nice work!

Great visuals on the elements that you could summon and I liked the mechanic of combining attacks to freeze enemies. Found it pretty hard to keep up with after the first few waves, maybe earning more points per level for the earlier levels would help? Or cheaper upgrades to start with? Fun game.

Really fun little game! I love all the different animations for the spells, had a pretty fun time with it. The music is pretty repetitive, and it was kinda hard to tell if there were any other elemental combinations but ice, but it's a super clever concept, and executed pretty well for three days! Nice work! ^^

The concept of the game is brilliant. The spells with combined effects are admirable. Audio can be improved but not a big deal for a jam game. With a little polishment, it can be far more than a jam game!. Excellent job!
