Great entry! I really got the feeling I was going very deep pretty soon after starting. Nice polished jam game!
This was pretty fun!
I love the cartoony graphics. I also like the way you added the upgrade mechanic to make the game have a bit more depth (no pun intended)! Great submission -- I liked trying it.

I like the game, the only thing I disliked was the speed of the submarine, but everything else is really good!
At first glance it reminded me a lot of the game we submitted, but luckily we used completely different mechanics ^^ The game is quite great and looks really professional. I had fun fighting deeper and deeper and collecting more and more pearls. On the first try I made the mistake of mindlessly buying Oxygen, so I didn't have any pearls for light. That was a bit frustrating, but after a reload I played for another 20 minutes. Unfortunately I didn't make it to the end (if there was one). Very good work!
The speed logic can be a bit improved I guess, maybe have it progressive or something like that. But other than that, I really like the game. And the radar sound is the best! :))
@sesca Thanks for the comment! There is actually no end to the game :laughing: but I'm glad you had fun playing it for as long as you did. One of my goals was trying to create something polished so I spent a lot of time on shaders and animations making that first trip down memorable.

@milan8890 @mikeandtherest For sure will continue tweaking the sub speed. Currently it speeds up as it reaches its max tilt and also increases the amount of bubbles coming out to try and sell the effect.

@nicso you can still progress without the lights just takes you a few runs :wink:
I'm not an experienced gamer (I prefer point&click quests), so my best result is 5 pearls) Tried to buy more oxygen but it didn't help.
I liked the art, it's very nice!

Wonderful game. Nice graphics and animations. Love the particle effects. The sun shafts are awesome. Feel good getting deeper down.
The controls are really great. Love how you can only go down deeper by going left or right, too.
First round I spent everything on oxygen... lol. Was not a good idea ;)
After a while it gets a bit tiresome, but otherwise good job!
I liked the art style, very well polished. The few sounds are pretty nice too though I think there could be more of them and they could be louder. I bought oxygen first and I got stuck pretty quickly as I couldn't go past the dark zone (tried several times, hoping I would pass by luck, but I failed every time :( ).
Pretty nice game overall.
