Woah, was not expecting to cure cancer today! LOL! Really surprisingly fun game, super nice job! All the mechanics really jive together super well, and the music was pretty fun. Gotta say that the last level was really frustrating, I think what was the most frustrating was that small enemy at the beginning right there to the right. It made it so easy to get killed or cripple you so fast! Also I would have loved for there to be some kind of background texture so that when all the platforms were off-screen I could have judged how far I had moved to stick landings by memory. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed this game, one of my favorites so far!

A simple idea executed in a good way.
What I liked the most:
1. The ball shrinking gives you feedback on your charge change 2. The movement felt easy and smooth
What confused me a bit:
1. The third level is really hard. :)

@coauctor Thank you for your comment :) But i don't understand which third level are you mentioning.First levels are kinda like invisible tutorial levels and they are so easy.Are you talking about the levels after tutorial levels ?

Damn ... this game is awesome! Controls are great but still its super hard.
Not "bad" hard but like "I have to try again" hard. Was not expecting that final boss to be so hard. I dont know if its a bug or feature but in the final boss if you are fast enough clicking right he does not go after you.
I recognize that soudtrack from somewhere :P but making it sount like an 8 bit sound really helped setting the mood of the game.
Great job and I definetly would play again with more levels.

@mordokay Thank you for your feedback man. Classical musics don't have copyright issue so i thought it fits to this kind of game (Mozart Lacrimosa).
I actually made a level maker for this game but couldn't do more levels because of running out of time.
Really niiiice game ! I love the timelapse as well, that's a great idea

Really good mechanics! Everything has a double purpose and I love that kind of things. Movement (inertia) and input (you can only press the key after the level started, but you can press the mouse button before) kind of ruined the experience from AWESOME! to just great! The idea have tons of potential! Also the level design can be polished a bit, but I love how it isn't repetitive. Congratulations!

Well I cured cancer :)
Controls were great, graphics were fine, audio matched well with the mood and gameplay, but I think the game was too hard though.
I think the penultimate stage "Charge your enemies" was harder than the final boss. If any anyone needs help beating this stage, I find it helps to stick near the top of the fence and move as horizontal as possible. I finally beat it by finding a sweet spot for my mouse where the ball moved perfectly horizontal to the finish.
For the final boss, just do it methodically. Burn the first enemy then use WSAD as much as possible, while using only short bursts of flame.

The gameplay of this game is just amazing. I love the simple but unique movement mechanic! Some levels might be a bit hard but other than that its a pretty great game.

pretty cool game! good concept and level design. it's annoying that the game doesn't detect buttons held, only button presses and releases, so if you die and start again you need to make sure to press the button after it starts. this wouldn't really be that big of a deal if it weren't for levels that make you react immediately after the level starts. The camera smoothing was frustrating also, since the direction you shoot depends on your mouse relative to the player, if you're going fast enough you have very little or even no room at all to shoot in the direction you want. removing the camera smoothing or putting a limit on the distance would solve this. Other than that i liked it!

- Hmm , i didn't think resetting WASD input at the start of level would affect the gameplay but you are right i guess. - I always liked the camera smoothing but i guess for this kinda game it should be a little faster.
- I ran out of time because of the physics,collisions and particle stuff so i couldn't polish the levels that much.
I always love participating in ludum dare because of these kinda comments. I feel like i'm really improving my game design by getting other people's ideas and stuff.

Cool game, tho a few problem of compatibility between level design and minimalist style i think. (Don't get me wrong, the style of the game is great, and i love minimalism) The best example would be on the level "to the top". Player have to go up but has no visual clew of his own speed.
I m being picky on a this cause the rest is i think pretty good and overall well executed. Nice job ;)

oh, and also, do not try to kill the player right from the spawn. At least do it either on purpose or really occasionally, NOT this often.

I liked the concept and the fact that the game has more than one level, "boss" and etc, which is really cool, the level design is the best thing in the game very well made, very smart game, great job !

Great game you have here, the feel's good, the level design's pretty nice, one thing you could do is to add eyeballs to the cancerous cells, it randomly happenned in the last stage when two small cells positioned themselves on the big cell and I though it was hilarious. Oh and there's a "glitch" in the last level if you move at the start of the level the big cell doesn't follow you, which makes the whole level way easier. Overall you did a good job there :D

It's a very clever game bravo ! simple by graphics, simple by game play, but The economy of means show the intelligence ! also the screen of instruction who repeat is a good idea. with the theme and the economy of the blob is coherent. But i really don't understand why use the requiem of Mozart xd.Maybe am I a little disappointed that we can move with wasd, i don't know

@lajazuve , i was listening mozart when making the game and i thought that using 8 bit of it could fit the game thats all ;D
