Love the pixel art style, but without a guide is really confusing.
Really enjoyed your game!Great work!
Great game. Reminds me of Tetris. My sister wanted to play the game when she saw it, so good job ;)
Nice game! the art is pretty good.
my feedback: :o: the graphics are so good :o: it's a bit difficult :o: remind me of a game i was playing it when i was child
Love the concept and how it feels ingame. The combination of graphics with sound is on point. I wish I had a restart button but overall great game!
Wow, this looks so nice! Very satisfying SFX as well :)
Funnily enough we ended up doing a game with a similarish part (fitting blocks into a tetris-style grid)! As @thomas-lessa said, the sound and graphics are great! I hit game over (I believe) and didn't seem able to restart, but enjoyed it nonetheless (and realise it's a wip).
Well, you're right, it's playable, but that's about it. The pieces on the board look nice, but the incoming pieces are a little confusing at first glance because of the shadow (?) underneath them. Definitely needs either a reset button or a goal. I wish that when a new piece arrives, it wouldn't shift the position of every other piece, because often a piece will move right as I'm trying to grab it, which is frustrating. Not bad, but it's very obviously unfinished.
I think it would have been nice to include a title screen or maybe even a brief instruction screen. This is the third or fourth game I've played that didn't include instructions in game and I apparently skim over this information page that folks are putting the instructions on. Aside from that, yay tetris! I enjoyed the gameplay though it didn't seem like there was a lose scenario? I got to a point where I couldn't fit a piece anywhere and I couldn't pick up another piece and so I didn't really know what to do at that point. I also really didn't care for the sound effects, they were a little grating.
The game concept was simple, and that usually is a good sign, but like @dsqowl said, i agree that it would have been better if there was a title screen with brief instructions on controls, and the goal of the game~
Pretty fun game, it would be much more fun if expanded upon with various puzzles to solve as levels go on. Also, there's a weird bug where you can drop a block outside of the stage on the top right, and the top right corner fills. If you do it again, it just fills with the next color.
Also, audio was a bit loud.
Good concept though!
Oh shit, another godot game :D - really cool take on tetris. I've failed, but it makes you want to keep trying. very addicting game.
The pieces lacked a bit of diversity, i got mainly 'S' pieces. Nice entry and kudos for using Godot 👍
I had fun playing it. I don't think I've played tetris in this form before so it was a nice change. The audio as @squabbler said was a bit too loud. A main menu would have been a welcome addition as well. But I can see this game potentially being very fun and addicting.
Liked the tetris style, pixel art is well done. It's a shame it doesn't have an ending.
Good job :)
Hey ! I think you have a great idea but obviously you didn't get enough time to develop it. I felt a bit confused because the upper left corner and the bottom right corner are connected to slightly blue wires, so I thought like I had to connect them with the blue tetris-shapes, but nah :P (or maybe I'm too bad to make it!). The SFX are REALLY too loud. It sounds a lot like my NES, which is okay, but I definitly think you should lower the volume a little. I think you can take your game and develop it into something much more good now that it's over. We need goals, instructions, and I'm pretty sure more catchphrases coming from our character would be great. The "Oh Shit" just feels so good, put some more sentences like that :D Good job anyway !
I just love the title XD Winner of the LD42 here ladies and gents, hood game with good concept,i like the artstyle as well Good Luck🍀
I wonder what the complete game would look like.
An interesting little concept! Despite the fact that there was no winstate, I still managed to have fun trying to fit as many pieces as possible into the board. I would never include curses in any of my games, but I can still appreciate the humor. I enjoyed the graphics as well. I really hope that you come out with a full version of the game at some point!
very difficult if you're colorblind as I am lol. fun though, wishing for some music
Great game! Very cool and interesting! :D
Great title, and a nice take on Tetris.. with well fitting sound effects. The animation of the little guy blinking was very cute, nicely done on that! While the gameplay is good, it definitely could use some fleshing out with a title screen/instructions/goal, etc.. great concept though, and a good take on the theme!
I'm a bit curious what the completed game would look like. I liked the graphics and I managed to create a full board, maybe I missed something?. As other has said, the sound effect was very loud.
Really cool game, nice gfx. You should expand this into a full game!
Nice concept! The grid reminds me that my game is on the same page with your game to some extent. Sfx and graphics are getting along well! I'll definitely check if there's post-mortem for this one!
Great art style and sound. Good job. I like the mechanics as well. Keep it up!
Please do check my game maybe you’ll like it and leave some feedback.
Nice game, Love how everything is balanced! Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam! Game Link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/spacelab-42a
