I love that there are definitions. The art is charming. My heart. I'm not crying, you're crying.

Interesting and fun idea. Good vibes and written well.
Good job with the writing! It was really enjoyable.
All constructive feedback I have is a tad subjective, but I do think you could've made it a tad more involved on the parts where you HAD to make choices based on previous dialog (like the elemental you summon or the order of traps you scouted). That being said, this is just me and does not affect the game in any way :)
Great job!
Wolfy is a great character to play as, I found the way to switch between different people a nice addition as it felt like I was in control of who I wanted to see next, while still being consistent with the storyline. Good job!
I loved this game! VNs are absolutely my thing but I've seen a lot of bad ones... this game is not one of them! I loved the artwork and the story. It was a very sweet story (At least, for endings 1 and 2). I might play the last two later but I'm really happy with what I saw! The definitions were an awesome touch and I like that you added the "Soulsea" mode for later play throughs. <3
Great writing, I enjoyed how the characters stories interacted with each other!
Nice story. Really would love some music and sounds, but it still have a lot of charm by its own right.
I wonder what familiar did (that was called as a misstake) that it became part-time instead of full-time one. Sounded like most familiars get the job to work for one human... I guess it may be explained in one of the endings, not the one I reached.
One thing - text was a bit too small for my monitor. Also selection for the summoner would stick to top-left corner and be like small part of the screen, not centred. I guess, its because they are resolution sensitive. Other than those two things - everything else was really well-polished and I enjoyed the jorney.
@pandapuffsforbreakfast @ziggy @stanthesoupking @crushedsummers Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed my game!
@heytherewill Definitely would have liked more time to expand on it, I realised too late how much I had locked into the formula with the hero and villain characters and I wish I could have given them their own scenes alone from each other to get more involved with the characters and choices you make. It's given me a good understanding of how to plan games like this in the future though, thanks for your feedback. ^^
@saprina289 I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Funnily enough 'Soulsea mode' was originally because I couldn't figure out a way to make a save system but wanted to make sure people didn't have to sit through the opening if they wanted to come back and try other paths. Was delighted when I got the shortcut working, it felt a bit like I was making a cheatcode, haha. (it's ctrl+shift+s , in case anyone wants to try it out! ^^)
@batisdark Unfortunately I couldn't really decide what exactly the familiar had done to be in their current contractual / non-permanent basis, so it's not something that appears in any of the paths. It's fun to think about though, if I decided to do more I'd definitely want to expand their backstory. Sorry to hear about the resolution issues, I tried to fix them but couldn't figure out how to (The method I used for the main menu refused to work for any of the character selection scenes or ending pages ^^; ). I'm glad you still enjoyed it though! Thank you for playing ^^
on itch it feels a bit that the interface is being cut on the sides.
I like the humor in the text, and it feels sometimes funny a dog figure acting a bit like a cat sometimes.
very interesting lore building here, I like that I can hover over words to know what they are.
they all have very distinct personalities Arthur, Lysander and Zavidar .... cant help but feel like one for each harry potter school.
there is an impressive amount of content in this
What I liked about this game right off the bat is the "highlight keywords with a cursor to get a short explanation/reminder of what that keyword represents" feature. It's so cool and practical and I don't see that many games use it. The story itself is very nicely written, the concept is cool and each character has their own dilemma that is engaging (I got the second ending on my playthrough). Kinda bummed that arthur and melindra didnt end up together. I only wish there were a couple of music tracks to amplify the mood of certain scenes, but the game still held up pretty well without any sound. Overall, well done!
Not my type of game, so I am not sure if I can provide a good feedback.
Graphics are nice, I like that you have an additional info upon hoovering over some underscored text, it makes the world alive. The game itself is a nice twist for the theme - being summoned. The mood is definitely here.
So I am going to give you score for the categories I feel I can decide, the rest is more for people who enjoy it much more than me. :)
got some interface problems uppon character selection, but surely due to my screen resolution (4k)
Nice entry 👍
I enjoyed the narrative you weaved together and the multiple endings you were able to put in the game. The highlighting of text and the descriptions of it helped out understanding what was being talked about. I was first thinking that the ritual to have a meeting with true love would be how you get the stuck girl and arthur to meet and then he'd rescue her and they'd fall in love, but that wasn't the case. Music would have helped with the mood of the game even if you had some stock music that fit the vibe. Overall I think you did a great job!
A neat, story based game, thank you!
Cute art with creative story, well done!
Wow, I wasn't expecting this to be so emotional! Great work balancing the four plots, having multiple endings, and providing slick little definitions in the text on mouse-over. Really enjoyed this one and got invested.
The story and art felt like they were well blended. Enjoyed it!
Nice story. I like how some of the different characters' paths can come together. The "main" ones work well, but I would have liked for the other two to have a bit more interaction and references to each other.
Not sure if it's just my setup (playing the web version on a macbook), but there were some long pauses/freezes. Also the text was quite tiny for my eyes - I wouldn't want it to cover the nice art, but it was a bit straining to be honest.
A nice story, I liked how the various threads intersected.
I am usually not too much into narrative games. That one was well written and I liked the keywords being always underlined. Small detail that made me appreciate the game.
Good storytelling, like the various choices that you have.
This was really well done and very well written! I was enthralled by the story. The one critique I have on the gameplay is that I thought there may be consequences of not serving one of the people summoning me for a while, but there wasn't (I ignored one that seemed particularly evil after their first summoning). That might add for at least an interesting tidbit of dialog, but your writing was so much better than anything I have ever done I'll leave it to the experts. Really well done!
Not the kind of thing I usually play but I was pleasantly surprised  Surprisingly well-written for a jam story and I was really happy to find the stories began intersecting. The little context highlights on words like 'Familiar' and 'Soulsea' is something I've never seen before but hope I see more of! It reduced the need for obvious exposition. The branching of the story worked real well, with events referencing each other consistently. Serious props for this!
The story was so good, I love how we can choose to have a heart to save the girl who calls us Wolfie, it's so adorable. The art was very cute and charming too, I love the familiar <3
funny game, story is interesting, i like the idea
Story was interesting, vibes were right, and there were a lot of judgement in this. Liked the art, overall, nice game!
I like the main hero as a character, I feel her mood in whole that story. I like the story, though
Great game, the narrative was perfect and the character too. Good job!
I liked how the different stories intertwined and I really liked the art for all the different characters. Wish I could have seen all the different endings but I had to stop playing.
Well written, not even for a jam game, just in general. It's hard for me to rate a VN (as I don't have a point of reference) but I found it very engaging. The tooltips are an awesome idea. I wish the history interface had profile pictures beside character names because I'm [particularly awful at remembering names](https://thejenkinscomic.files.wordpress.com/2020/05/screenshot-1088.png).
Here's a recording, though I don't think it counts as feedback if the game is a VN. I would have played through the Soulsea Mode if there was save and backtrack functionality like in Ren'Py. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEmrK6-aoR0
Fun game, the dialogue was very enjoyable to read! Well done!
