Was a good game, especially with the time constraints. It didnt look like my gun was doing anything most of the time, sometimes I would see bullets fly out and kill stuff but most of the time I heard the sound effect but nothing seemed to happen.
I thoroughly enjoyed that game. I found it a bit on the easy side, but the gameplay was very solid. I loved the graphics and the music fit well with the game. Good job!
I love the combination of 2d and 3d graphics. Controls were a little wonky but overall was fun. Music was very fitting, and loved the graphics. Impressed with the controller support, never had the time to bother with that for my game.
I actually realy enjoyed the simple graphics for this game, it looked great. Some of the text like for the level were kinda hard to read. But other then that, very solid entry. Good job!
Im impressed you were able to get a 3d game made in the 48 hours. I found it quite hard. More oil would have been nice. I would find lots at the beginning but nother later into it. Overall a pretty good game :)
The movement was hard to get used to, but I loved the inclusion of grabbing ledges, the animation for that was solid. Game was a little on the short side but lots of time seemed to be spent on the mechanics so thats not too surprising. Overall, solid game. Good job!
I am amazed at how beautiful the game was. Both the art and graphics were incredible. A little bit on the easy side, but the fact that was made in 72 hours really blows my mind. You should turn it into a full game.
Was a fun game. really enjoyed the monsters commentary. Turned out to be a lot more challenging then I initially thought it was. The instructions a the beginning were super confusing before you have played the game. but Im sure with more time, a proper tutorial could have been created.
I am so sorry @spacewizardj and @untitled-studios It should be fixed now. something messed up when i did the final compile. I should have noticed when the file size was only 4.7MB
@endurion Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. The floaty movement was due to a glitch in my movement code that I unfortunately didn't have time to fix.
@william-derksen Thank you for the feedback. Music was not made by me unfortunately, was made on ecrettmusic.com, a site for generating music that is free to use in commercial products (there is a monthly fee for the service tho) The floaty-ness was caused by a glitch in my movement code that I didnt have time to fix. There were not clear instructions unfortunately, each level has a pool of water that refills the fishes water.
Graphics are beautiful, some sound would have really added to the atmosphere of the game. I love platformers and games with collectibles so I found this enjoyable to play. I kept forgetting to throw the flower pot so I could attack, this probably led to most of my deaths. I made a platformer too, maybe you could check out. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/the-adventure-of-mr-bubbles
The graphics are nice. Took me awhile to figure out how to move as I was trying WASD (My keyboard doesnt have dedicated arrow keys) but once I figured it out it was fun. Quite challenging however, it moves a little too fast. my record was 14 seconds. Great first game.
I havnt tried the post jam version. But the controls make the game pretty much unplayable for me unfortunately. I have a keyboard without dedicated arrow keys so I have to hold the function key to access them, but when holding down function, spacebar does nothing. Accepting WASD input as well as arrow keys would have been nice. Graphics look really nice though and the music is great. Good job on the jam.
