Can't fairly vote since it runs really sluggish on my PC. Also, how are you supposed to survive the ladder part right after the first ramp?
It looks promising though.
The ladder part is merely to indicate the ground you're jumping over, there's a landing ramp past the red ladder lines that you're meant to land on, to get across it you have to hold down the forward button until you clear it.
With regards to running sluggish, there isn't a whole lot I can do since when I tried it without the stupidly inefficient shaders it looked nothing like it should have. It's probably not worth the effort of trying either.
The idea could be fun, if it were finished. There are some graphic quirks I guess when the ball is hit by this thingies turning him into the discs.
Needed some time to figure out jumping OVER the ladder part. Then it was a pain in the ass to catch the ramps and not get killed by the hover-turning-thingies.
Could be a nice game. I like the graphics. With some nice disco beats, less sensitivity on my trackball, and smoother movement, this could be a nice little time killer at work.
No community involvement? No chatting on IRC, a little catch up blog entry or anything? Not even a timelapse? Especially the part about banging your head with the stupid unity could have been fun to watch in the timelapse.
I chatted on IRC a bit, but I'm rather bad at community stuff in general, I'm not a fan of making a post that maybe 3 people will read that's rather similar to everyone else's during a period when everyone is rather busy just to tick some arbitrary box. If I had something I wanted people to see I would've posted it but other than that I'm not a huge fan of the category as it's less about actual meaningful involvement and more about checking arbitrary boxes. I'll do a timelapse next time, I personally rarely ever watch them so I tend to forget to set it up in time. I know this all seems rather anti-social, I probably am, but it always seems like something people check just for this category rather than anything, in my mind the best contributors to the community are the ones who make the best games and it doesn't go anywhere past that.
That said if that's what people who are kind enough to review my failures want, I'll definitely try harder next time.
