I love the concept, very nice. The game is pretty difficult though. Each hit takes 1 HP from the enemy, and Microsoft Sam isn't really suitable for playing this.
Damn you, Microsoft Sam! I can't understand a word of what you're saying!
It was fun trying to guess what word to spell. I enjoyed playing it, even though I mostly got owned by the very first creature I came across.
It was a good game, although I didn't understand much of what the speaker's saying...

I love the idea of the game, very original. Most of the time i didn't have a problem understanding what word needed to be spelt however, I found it was too difficult. I would get most of the words right, but three incorrect and your dead. I also had the occasional problem as it was US English, not British English, but that's not bad. Overall, it get's my thumbs up of approval. (Y)

Cool idea, never seen that before.
I've no chance against the first opponent. Maybe with less words, say one or two, I might stand a chance :)
The main screen's buttons were black for me.

I like the concept. But a single battle is too long/hard even when I hear most of the words correctly. I also stupidly kept pressing the "Run" button (w/o even reading it!) in battles until I realized I have to press enter. :-D The game itself could have even some game-y graphics'n'stuff and not just some GUI buttons... Maybe for v2?
Years ago we also had fun with the MS speech synthesizer and made this little demo with it... http://bit.ly/hRW1Wx
Pretty funny, actually. Some of the things it came up with.. If you'd added a way to see what the word you'd missed was, it'd actually be a pretty fun game of "try to figure out what that silly Sam is saying". As it is, I have to give it a 3/5 overall. You get higher points for a good concept!
