Pretty good! Was a little confused why I got an arm from talking to the first pinkish dude, figured out that was showing what I needed. A little prompt similar to the "You Got" would have been nice. Writing (overlooking some minor typos) made me smile and the fog of war effect was well done. Good Work!

I liked how this played out. The optional dialogue is nice, but I think it would have worked better if there was one more puzzle involving the end. Since you can easily just skip to the end, it feels like the characters about are completely pointless (but they aren't you're doing world building with them). They just aren't being given the chance to be a part of the story. The writing was good (though I struggled to figure out the themes of the various types of demons). I did fully expect the ending to be that we actually belonged there, though.
An interesting game that kept me on my toes because I couldn't guess what would happen.

@xfinktion Thanks for the advice! Glad you liked the writing considering that was most of the game ;P

@incobalt Thanks! I wanted this to be a puzzle game but turns out I'm bad at coding and making puzzles (maybe I should have picked a genre I knew how to do). The themes of the demons go like this (it's loose cuz I was making it up as I went on lol) Red guys: Angry brutal dudes, that's why they are the mean ones Green guys: Sloth/Gluttony, flabby lazy cow kinda things Yellow guys: Assholes, I dunno just kinda mean Blue guys: Deranged Pink gals: Horny. Satan: Satan And in the beginning I was gonna have it your the only blue guy in a red world but then I decided to add more colour.

To be honest, not much of a game, but technically quite good. I did get stuck in the small corridor on the top left though and had to restart.
The music makes the atmosphere nice and gloomy, I love the NPC designs and the story could get interesting. So there is nothing to the end message, where it says to talk to all NPCs?
Other than that, quite well done!
This game and its style reminds me of undertale (which is good ). The various citizens are fun to talk to. I'm not a big fan of how the map is revealed but thats probably just personal preference.
Amazing job for one person in that short amount of time.

@endurion Thank you! I know it's got no gameplay, I wanted it to be a puzzle game but puzzles are hard and I am dumb ;p. Glad you liked the NPC's!!

@fatpenguin Thank you! I wanted it to be spooky and gloomy which is why I made the fog of war effect
I wish there could have been more trading involved to get to the end, but I like the concept and vibe and absolutely enjoyed talking with the demons and seeing all their cool designs. Good job!

A weird, surreal and fun little game. Well done.
I wish there was more gameplay in this game. You have a tiny fetch quest at the beginning and that is it. I went all around the map, talked to everyone and found really nothing else to do but... well, walk and talk  And there is nothing wrong with walking and talking in the game, when it leads to something or has a purpose (character development, for example). But this just felt hollow. I know it's because of lack of time during the jam, though.
It is a nice concept and with a lot of potential! I really wish it was more developed.
The color choices, in my opinion, don't really fit the setting and I didn't like the blocky way the fog of war was "unfogging". Some more smooth transitions would be much more pleasant on the eyes. I liked the audio though, that was quite fitting!
Congrats on finishing and posting the game! :)

@fabula-rasa I wanted to make it a fancy spooky puzzle game but by about midnight before the deadline I only had the fetch quest and talking, so I just added a buncha funny talking stuff. Puzzles are hard to code when you've never done them before lol. Yeah like I could have made it transtion with like a half dark but it works still haha. Thanks for the feed back!
