I must admit that I marked this one up a bit for being a 2600 game. Was kind of fun though, but the gods were displeased with me on the third-or-so level and whipped me down with very agile lightning. Could have used some cheesy music.

Nice, the applet seems a bit dodgy though. I played with the mouse since the arrow keys only seem to work after double clicking a few times.
Nice, great idea :D
Haha :D Read the story :D Made me smile :D
Well game is simple yet fun to play :) I think it is retro nostalgia may be :)
Well for portability=Technical=5 :D
Haha, awesome. There seems to be a bug where you can warp via the leftmost wall to avoid the alien, btw. =)
Great job!
The aliens story was awesome and mysterious. Mysteriously awesome.
The concept of the game is nice... I think that with better graphics and some more work this game could be very very intresting!
Building a tower was a good idea :)
couldn't understand what to do but in the end I found out :P
I passed some levels I like throwing bricks at my enemys muhahaha XD
shame you couldn't spend some more time on graphics but I understand :) programing roms isnt easy...
anyway I would love to see any future progress with this game :D good job!
Best Atari 2600 game ever!
Nice game! Something fresh, but in the old-school style :)
Yeah a bit dodgy and very easy at start, after a few levels it got very hard.
Well... it's real cool to see it being true atari 2600 style, and with such a meaningful backstory. On the flipside, it's more like work than play, because as long as you just keep walking left and right, you never get hit and the tower gets built. I see others saying it gets hard at the high end, but I'm not sure what 'hard' means, because those bullets move too fast to have any chance to dodge! I think it would've been better off with a ton of slow falling bullets, so like dodging the rain of shots rather than just not being under the ship when it fires.
That's very nitpicky, but I like to share my thoughts! Consider them shared.
Really cool retro style graphics and sounds. Very simple gameplay. Fun for a short while but doesn't keep up in the long run. Food and journal are both nice - story is awesome!
Cool idea making an atari game. Applet has some issues - looping from the right gets all wonky, and the reset button didn't work for me in FF or IE on vista.
That would have been a AAA title in 1979 :D Fun retro-game!
Cool backstory. The applet didn't want to reset, so I had to refresh the page and race down to the applet before the gods zapped the hero too much.
The applet didn't work right for me. I had to download the zip.
Pretty goofy/fun :)
Nice little game, though it was really easy to build the tower if you just go left/right through the screen edge.
